6-Day Guided Rifle Elk Hunt – Sheep Creek
About this package
Our Sheep Creek Ranch elk hunts are on a general license, which means there is no draw for the special permit. We conduct these hunts the first two weeks of the general rifle season. I can take a maximum of four hunters per week. This is a classic elk hunt in fairly rough, steep country. We find our success rates are higher with the guys that are in the best shape. We use utv’s to access the hunt area. Success rate is typically 50%. There are some tremendous bulls in the area. A hunter willing to put in the time and hunt hard should have a good chance at a mature bull. We often take bulls that score 350″ or more. These hunts are conducted as a 2 on 1. That means one guide for two hunters. Hunters stay in 14’x16′ wall tents. The tents all have wood floors and wood stoves for heat. There are bunks in each tent for two people per tent. We gather for meals in the main lodge. Price: $9,500. This hunt is 6 full days and 7 nights in camp. All hunt prices based on a 2 hunters per guide.
