Mountain Lion hunting is very limited. I offer private land hunts under certain circumstances. These hunts are very successful. There is a good population of cats on the Cascade Ranch and Sheep Creek Ranch. Hunters must be able to come out on short notice. 72 hours notice is what I prefer. I have to do this because we need to have the right weather conditions. i.e, fresh snow. If you are interested in pursuing a Mountain Lion and can do it under these conditions please let me know and we can discuss it. Successful trophy hunters may be subject to a trophy fee. This fee may be waived depending on the situation.

Guided Management Mule Deer Hunt – West Butte Ranch

NOW OFFERING: Management Mule Deer hunts (Guides Choice). Don’t think these are lesser sized bucks! Some years the management deer are the biggest we take. Our program focuses on the age of the deer and relates to horn growth. Big, old bucks that are 3×3’s or 4×3’s with huge frames is the focus here. This is a great father/son or father/daughter hunt.

Guided Trophy Deer Hunt – West Butte Ranch

We offer hunt packages for both mule deer and whitetails. The West Butte Ranch is a large mountain property bordering Alberta, Canada. The country is steep, rugged, and road-less, making it ideal for elk and deer, but tough physically. This property is known for its big mule deer bucks and huge whitetails. The terrain on this ranch is ideal for bow hunting, whether its spot-and-stalk mule deer, or tree stand whitetail hunting.

Guided Pronghorn Antelope Hunt – West Butte Ranch

I offer antelope hunts on two ranches: The Cascade Ranch and The West Butte Ranch. Both ranches see little hunting pressure each year and consistently show us big, mature bucks. Shot opportunities are great for both the archery and the rifle hunts! Licenses are issued though a draw system. Rifle draw odds are at 50 percent. Archery draw is 100 percent.
