5-Day Guided Archery Bull Elk Rico Camp Hunt
About this package
This camp is a high-country backcountry public land camp in the San Juan National Forest under special use permit from the USFS. This area is part non-motorized and part Wilderness area which limits access unless you know the area well. We hunt on foot from the base camp or a drop camp and do walk a good bit on these hunts. This area has been draw only for archery elk tags since 2020 and has a good elk population. Archery bull elk tags can be drawn with 0-1 points. This area is steep and rugged but holds a lot of quality animals and is an amazing place to hunt.
