North Rim Trophy Hunts outfitting is a first class operation. Up front communication was prompt, clear and totally honest about what to expect while hunting with them. They have the logistics of planning, conducting, and post-processing the hunt down to a science with incredible efficiency. The camp is clean, comfortable, welcoming and well stocked; and the food was superb. Due to personal health issues, Annie (the cook) went above and beyond the call of duty to keep me nourished and well enough to hunt. The guides know the animals and their behavior and the land itself than I I know my little whitetail patch back home in NY. Anyone interested in a great Colorado elk hunting experience should seriously consider North Rim Trophy Hunts.

North Rim Trophy Hunts is a top notch outfitter. The lodge is quiet and comfortable. The cook prepared homemade meals which were fantastic. The hunt was “a hunt of a lifetime”. I went with my father which turned 85 while we were there. The guides tailored his hunt to his physical capabilities which made his hunt enjoyable for him. The hunt for me was so much more than I expected. It was challenging and fun. I recommend this outfitter to anyone looking to go on their dream hunt.

The house accommodations were tidy and comfortable, and the full time cook always made sure we were full with delicious meals. I will never hunt at this place again if Rocky is the head guide. He was on welcoming. He had a very bad attitude and a very unhappy person. He never wished anybody a good hunt before a hunt. He was pretty much removed from the hunting group as a whole. He made himself separate from the group at all times. I’m glad I didn’t spend any more money than I did. The three guides and the cook were first class, and the food was great. The three hunters confronted him two days in about his attitude. And his answer was I’ve been doing this for very long time. I should’ve known. After his statement. By the way, this was a fence hunt.
