5 days1–3 hunters📅 Oct – NovWe take you on a 7-day quality elk hunt (one day in, one day out, 5 days hunting). The percentage of harvest is about 50% to 75% for our Regular Elk Hunts.

Our elk hunts are free-range or low-fence hunts on private property in Colorado. This means that you'll be seeing elk that are moving naturally through their habitat. The Colorado elk season is from the middle of October through the end of November at the tail end of the rut when bull elk spend all their time traveling to see if they can find a breedable cow elk.

Located along the North Rim of the Black Canyon in western Colorado, North Rim Trophy Hunts is a privately owned elk ranch consisting of aspen, oak brush, and open parks. Our hunts continue to produce some of the largest trophy elk in the state, year after year. During the September hunts, we are shooting bulls in the 350 to 400’s SCI score, 370 average.
