1 day📅 Oct – DecTypically October through December when the hides are the best for taxidermy. However, we can be flexible. Usually 1-2 days in length.

If you have ever wanted to experience a real buffalo hunt, then Elk River Outfitters has the hunt for you. Our hunts take place right in the middle of where the buffalo hunting took place in the 19th century and earlier, in eastern Montana. The herd we hunt contains over 1,800 free roaming buffalo. Our hunt is a real “spot and stalk” hunt and also a great adventure. This is no pasture hunt – it is truly the hunt of a lifetime.
