Our Elk Herd is in extremely good shape and as of this writing. If you participate in the January drawing, you will have a very good chance to draw the ½ price additional cow/calf license, area 97 type 6 for your elk hunt. If you don’t draw in January or miss the drawing, we will have area 97 type 1 licenses available in July that can be used for that Cow Hunt. We will generally be hunting from either our Blacks Lake Base Camp or from the Burnt Lake drive in camp (depending on weather and elk movement) for this Cow Elk Hunt. The location of these camps adjacent to the Fall Creek Elk Feed Ground afford us unsurpassed opportunities to harvest that cow elk: November 3-7 and November 8-12: Available Hunt Dates. 3 Days of Hunting, 4 Day Total. Fill your freezer & scout our Trophy Bull Elk Hunting area for the 2021 season. Deluxe Hunting Camp, all horses, pack out of your meat, 2 hunters per guide, and all Food provided. Based from our Burnt Lake Base Camp: $4200/hunter plus tax. Very high success rates.

Oct. 25-Nov. 1 Rifle Elk Week: Although we can see snow anytime during the entire elk hunting season, this hunt week almost always will present the advantages of hunting elk in the snow. We will typically see more elk during this week than any other hunting week and historically take some great bulls during this week. We will normally be hunting from our Blacks Lake Base Camp and/otr our Burnt lake Base Camp depending on the weather and elk movement. We will typically hear bull elk bugles, but they are not usally coming to our bugles and cow calls like they do in the earlier hunt weeks.
8-Day Rifle Bull Elk Hunt

Sept. 19-26 and Sept. 28-Oct. 5, and Oct. 7-14 are what we consider our rifle bugling hunt weeks. Some years the Sept. 19 wek will present the best bugle opportunities while some years we will see either the Sept. 28 or Oct. 7 week presenting the best bugling bulls. All of these high-country Wilderness Hunt (Horseshoe Lake) weeks produce high kill success rates and higher opportunity rates.

Our Antelope population continues to grow and has the potential to provide that Trophy Buck for you. We hunt both in the Western part of the state and in the North Eastern part of the state and have been enjoying 100% kill success rates on very good bucks. Some of the hunt specifics include: Seasons generally run from Sept. 7 through mid-November. Lodging is provided at our Burnt Lake Drive-In Base Camp, or local motels/lodges depending on area drawn & Antelope movements. All meals are provided. Licenses are overall difficult to draw and do require preference points. Licenses in our North Eastern area are much easier to draw and we have been enjoying some left over license opportunities in July. 4x4 vehicles, ground blinds are provided. This is a 3 hunter/guide hunt. We provide Archery as well as Firearm hunts with excellent success.

Black Bear population continues to grow. This bait hunt can be booked in either the spring or fall season, with spring season, historically being the best. We place our baits outside of, but near the Bridger Wilderness Area and have historically taken some extremely good Trophies. We historically take a very large percentage of color phase bears. We are currently on a "Female Mortality Quota System" and the season varies accordingly. Your lodging will be provided at our Burnt Lake Drive-in Base Camp, local motels/lodges in Pinedale, depending on the season, our best chance of harvest and your particular wants. Licenses can be purchased upon arrival.

We provide both a Wilderness Horseback Hunt and a Private Lands Hunt, depending on your specific hunt area drawn and your personal preferences. Our consistently high kill success rates are testament to our Moose population, hunt areas and guiding ability. Your Wilderness Horseback Hunt will be conducted from our Wilderness Spike Camps, , Burnt Lake Drive in Camp, Elk Hart Pack Station or either of our Wilderness Base Camps, depending on specific moose activities.
