Man where to start. I was hesitant. Guided hunts are expensive. There are so many questions a newbie has. From first contact talking with JT Robbins at Allout Outfitters and Guiding I knew I was making a great choice. His personal attention to service and detail put me at ease. JT’s advice to me through the prehunt period made me feel even more confident. JT communicated better than I did. His scout locations prehunt were great. JT’s advice to wait for a better specimen paid off big time as well. His assiociates were top notch also. Austin Gomez was a great guide, personable and attentive. I had an incredible experience hunting with Allout! I was fortunate enough to draw an elk tag for the Book Cliffs Roadless area in Utah—a rare opportunity, especially as a nonresident. Going in, I didn’t fully grasp what I was getting into, but JT and his team made all the difference. JT has years of experience hunting and working with his mules in this rugged country, and it shows. Watching those mules navigate the terrain made it clear how challenging the hunt would’ve been on foot. The mules are a game-changer! The camp was comfortable, the food was great, and the effort put in by JT’s outfit was nonstop. With the help of the mules, you are able to cover a ton of ground and glass a lot of elk. In the end, we were lucky enough to take a great bull. But beyond the harvest, the real highlight was witnessing JT and his team in action—working the mules, riding through that stunning landscape, and bringing deep knowledge and passion to every part of the experience. That alone was worth the trip. If you're lucky enough to draw a tag for the Book Cliffs Roadless area, I highly recommend hunting with Allout. It’s a top-tier experience in every way.

I hunted mountain lion with Allout Outfitters. Although this was my first hunt with Allout Outfitters, it was my fifth and best guided hunt for mountain lion. JT and Jordyn worked hard to get me to the right mountain lion. We covered a lot of ground and actually changed hunting areas and moved from Colorado to Utah because of lack of activity and sign. They split up and covered multiple sides of mountains to cut tracks. You can say they want the extra mile(s). We got on the right tracks and I was fortunate enough to bring home an 11-year old tom. If you’re looking for a great hunt with a world class outfitter, I highly recommend Allout Outfitters. Definitely a five star outfitter and guide. JT-thank you for the fantastic hunt. Worldwide Trophy adventures listened to what my limitations are with two knee replacements and age (76) and put me in touch with the perfect outfitter – Allout Outfitters. This was by far the best hunt I have ever been on. The guides kept track of the terrain we hunted to accommodate me. I can’t say enough about the guides Austin, Colton and Chance. It was like meeting three of my new best friends. These guys are awesome. They worked as a team and knew the area. Along with being great guides all three were genuinely superb people. We talked over each situation and came up with a game plan. The bull I shot was huge in the body. These three guides packed the quarters 1/2 a mile up a slope I had trouble climbing. Extremely impressive. Again, the best outfitter I have been with in 35 years of elk hunting. I would highly recommend them. Oh, I also got a really nice bull which was a bonus to a fantastic trip. I hunted elk during the 3rd season with Alloutoutfitters. What a first class outfit. I told them my goal and they delivered. We saw over 20 bulls a day and one day over 400 elk. Much of the unit is private but they know every square inch of public. Their prescounting was evident because wherever they went we were into big elk. I’ve killed a lot of elk in the last 50 years but haven’t broken the magic 300 bull. After passing numerous bulls and even missing one, my dream was fulfilled in the last 20 minutes of the last day allowing me to take home a 354 bull. They are the hardest hunting guides I’ve ever worked with and never gave up on me. At 70 years old I showed up in good shape and tried to stay with them. They were mindful of effort and were always looking back at me to monitor my progress. Even when I was completely spent on the last day, they made it my choice to exert the extra energy required to get in position for the bull. Shoutout to Austin and Cole for making it happen. Sleeping quarters were comfortable and the food was good. 5 star and highly recommended

I had a spring bear tag for the book cliffs unit and I can say it was an experience that me and my dad will never forget. JT went above and beyond to make me happy. We ended up getting on a bear and had it treed and I passed it up because I had the faith that we could get on another one. The very next day we went in and got a very nice boar weighing around 275. I can't say enough good things about our mountain lion hunt with J.T. and Allout Outfitters out of Mack, CO. Bre met us in Grand Junction, CO to insure we had the proper license and tag. Then it was off to lion camp in Utah. The accomodations were excellent. A newer 2 bedroom camping trailer and enough food and snacks to feed an Army. We hunted hard from sunup till sundown. On the afternoon of the 3rd day, the dogs(which were unbelievable) treed a female lion, which I passed on. Not an hour later, the dogs treed the largest tom mountain lion I had ever seen! There is something special about being that up close and personal to a cat that big! If you want an unbelievable, unforgettable lion hunt, contact Allout Outfitters. I was fortunate to get to hunt the second week of January 2020. JT Robbins put me up in a nice pop-out mobile home, and I got to enjoy meeting and eating with his family. Snow and weather in Utah were nearly perfect, so we headed there. We started out early on Monday morning with a packed hot breakfast, and coffee. He had two other guides with dogs also looking for tracks. After looking in the foothills in the dark for several hours, we headed south to the Bookcliffs. Not long on the drive to the canyon faces, we spotted tracks coming from a high saddle across the cholla plains and along a road and creek bottom. Mr. Robbins’ 15 years of experience and knowledge of the country then came into play. The cat had crossed private land. He, however, knew the owner, and easily gained permission to pursue across her sheep ranch. There we several tracks to investigate, so I was sent to look down the creek bottom, and JT rigged up the dogs. When I was down in the creek bottom, JT had released the dogs, and he radioed me to follow the dogs baying. Not more than one-half mile, and not long thereafter, the dogs had treed a lion. It was a magnificent 145-pound tom who was in a large cottonwood. After getting some more dogs and the other guides there, I was able to bring down the animal. Arrangements were then made the next day for me to take the lion to have it checked by Utah and taken to a local taxidermist. My fiance and myself had a exceptional experience with All-out Guilding and Outfitting. We started hunting in Utah and I was able to tag out on the 2nd day of the hunt, then we switched up to Colorado and my fiance tagged out on the 6th day. JT is exceptionally knowledgeable about the Lions, and he knows where to find them. When the hunt got tough trying to turn up fresh tracks, he never gave up. His help was very exceptional to, they helped out in every way they could. And we can't forget about Breanna, Every morning she had a really good warm breakfast sandwich ready for us, along with sandwiches for lunch, and a really good dinner when we got back from hunting. To anyone wanting a adventure of a lifetime, JT is the man you need to hunt with.

My experience with ALLOUT was mostly "left out". I got one phone call from JT in early summer. I called him just prior to our hunt to try to find out something about what I needed to do to prepare. When my brother and I arrived in camp on Thursday afternoon all the other hunters were out with their assigned guides. We sat in camp. On Friday morning I was sent out with a guide who was NOT going to be my guide on Saturday. On Friday night I went out to scout with my brother and his guide. We spotted an elk heard with a nice bull and they plotted a plan for Saturday morning. I watched. I finally met my guide on Saturday morning. He was a fine young man who works a full time job all week. He was very knowledgeable and knew where to look for elk. But he had not been in the woods for days or weeks before my hunt, as did all of the other guides. We managed to find a bull on opening morning but I was not prepared for a 900+ yards shot. Traveling to a different location we stumbled on a migrating herd with a bull. I took a hurried shot and missed, after my guide told me the bull had one horn broken off. After the first 2 days I got a new guide. Mine had to go back to his regular job. It became apparent that if you hadn't shot something in the first day or two, the odds of finding a nice bull went way down. After 23 years of building points to get into Unit 61, I am pretty disappointed in how this once in a lifetime hunt was handled. Oh well. . .

Well I don't know where to start, but from the beginning of my quest to Colorado for an elk with a bow, JT, Bre and his crew have been nothing short of awesome. Very welcoming group of people they are. My quest started 2 years ago for elk. First year was hot and not much elk movement so we went for black bear. JT and I stalked a P & Y black bear to 7 yards and we took the shot and made it happen. Then I went back for the 2018 Elk season. Scott and I put in some long tough days. It ended with another heck of a stalk and bull arrowed and a smile ear to ear. These guys are like family now I talk to them quite a bit through out the year and I am excited to go back next year and hunt the great wapiti with a bow. I hunted with Leremy, one of JT’s guides, late season bull elk in Unit 40 in November 2018. Leremy was excellent. He really knows his way around the public land in 40.
