My son and I have been hunting at Woodland’s going on 10 years. Every time has been different and exciting. Mendel is very accommodating to our needs as the type of terrain we hunt. The early years I was able to hunt any field; now with two knee replacements and a bad back . . . Mendel put us on some exciting ditch hunts with fast flushing roosters and “ flat roads “ for me to walk and still hunt with my son. Thank you Mendel for making it possible for me to continue my passion of hunting.

Just finished an incredible pheasant hunt at Woodland’s Hunt Club with two of my customers, and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. The communication before the hunt was excellent—Mendel, the host and owner, was extremely helpful, responsive, and made planning the trip effortless. Our guide, Alex, was outstanding. He clearly knows the land, the birds, and how to make a hunt both successful and enjoyable. His bird dog, Spike, was the highlight of the day—well-trained, focused, and an absolute machine in the field. I will say this however; Mendel borrowed my bug spray nine years ago while hunting one morning and never returned it. Haha. No worries Mendel.
