This place rocks! As a first time duck hunter, the WillowTail Farm team was super knowledgeable and they facilitated a great experience. Lodging: Very clean and comfortable. Multiple beds per room with a great room that could seat 20+. Hunting Site: After a short boat ride through an icy swamp, we arrived at our blind and it was large with heaters included. They have invested heavily into decoys and other technology to help attract ducks. Beautiful old cypress trees all around made it feel like a classic duck excursion. Food: The food was excellent and exceeded expectations. No cutting corners here, just good southern home-cooked food. We had pork ribs, fried crappie, and breakfast burritos for our one day outing. Experience: The staff made it great. Highly engaged with our group and made a first timer feel comfortable. Feedback: 1) Transparent online pricing ultimately made this an easy decision to book WillowTail. Please keep this as your ongoing policy. They also gave us a fair refund for a person in our party who was unable to join us last minute. 2) Pre-arrival expectations could have been clearer. Examples: What is the room and bed situation? Will the birds be cleaned on site or is that the hunters responsibility (answer is they cleaned our birds). How many people will we be shooting with? Overall: It’s clear these guys love what they do. It’s infectious and made me want to go out again ASAP. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful experience. Got the hunt for husbands birthday and the outfitter and guides did a great job accommodating a female hunter. I felt welcome and at home.
