Great lodge but didn't get to stay in it, had to stay in an house 10 min away. Never met the Owner, Gordy the camp manger was nice and polite but definitely had too many hunters to take care of. Was told to sign paperwork, then ran to house I was to stay at. No talk of when I came back for suppers or any other meals. Food was amazing and the lady cooking was super polite. Was just told the area I could hunt, never asked what I was used to. Not 1 gobble all weekend and never saw a turkey anywhere. Other hunters felt the same way, just another number to their list and we were hunting land that was over hunted perhaps. Nice bed and breakfast weekend lol....not even fun for hunting turkeys though. 2nd morning I never heard from a outfitter guide at all until 2 hours after I messaged them and said I had left because it was pointless. Couldn't do another 10 miles of hunting and not seeing a bird nor hearing one. Saw a ton of deer, maybe they do better at that. But wish I had known what I was getting into.

Was best experience I ever had with an outfitters. Family owned operation. There goal was to make sure you were doing what you came there to do. Beautiful beautiful maintained properties. They made me feel like I was home , well fed 5* food and accomodations. I did not once feel like I was there for them to make a living .I made memories ill tell my grandkids about. I will be back for youth turkey with my daughter and looking forward to joining this operation for spring Florida hunts.

I’ve been to this outfit 3 times and I’ve sent two other hunters to this lodge since 2019. The first couple of times were alright. I got a beautiful deer. I’m not gonna take that from them. My partner and I just left from opening weekend of turkey season and to say it was a disaster is putting it mildly. He can post all the pictures he wants but those turkeys were sheer luck. The land is over hunted. The “lodge” is their personal home where your crammed into space if your single and as a couple let’s just say the room was less than ideal with glass doors where anyone can see in and no quiet or privacy. The toilet didn’t work so we’re sharing spaces between hunters. We were told there was a yard and a pool if we needed it. Surely in jest but the issue wasn’t fixed. The room was dirty. The bathrooms in the lodge broke down. Ice machine broke down. Told we could use the washer. Broken. The food they post is not what you’re served. Look up the outdoor living article. 19 hunters crammed on minimum leases. No scouting. Didn’t hear or see a bird. Fair chase is one thing. Over hunted poorly managed property is another. His kids were running the outfit. One guide. George. He tried hard to get us on a bird but it didn’t happen. But the experience over all was trash. When we stopped for ammo in town they outright told us Tevis didn’t pay his leases and had a bad reputation in town. A short google search last night revealed they weren’t wrong. I’ve traveled all over and have hunted and fished. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose it’s the name of the game. This place is an outright scam. Paying people to remove poor reviews and creating new pages isn’t going to change a thing. Better business bureau. Yelp. And just about every hunting page is going to reveal the true story.

I have been fortunate enough to turkey hunt with Tevis and the Whitetail Heaven crew 5 times over the past 7 years. The amount of ground and quality of areas they have access to is truly impressive. Even on some tougher hunts there have always been birds to work with. This year my wife and I were able to take our two young boys there for youth weekend. This year was by far the most turkeys I’ve ever experienced there. The weekend hunting and time spent with Tevis and Micah will be remembered for the rest of our lifetimes. Both boys filled their tag and couldn’t talk about anything other than turkey hunting the whole ride home. Thanks Tevis, Micah and the Whitetail Heaven crew. We will be back.

Man I tell you what, Tevis is one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to anything you can hunt. This weekend was opening day of Turkey season in Florida I was up early and in the woods with his guide Carmine. The sun started coming up and all of a sudden the woods lit up with gobbles. Just wrapped up a late-season duck hunt in Kansas and had an absolutely great time. There were tons of birds, and the guides truly had them pinned down, putting us right where we needed to be. Central camp in KY over booked and deer are over pressured. Stayed for 4 days and hunted all day sits and seen 6 deer total and one borderline buck for their “minimum requirements”. Save your money and find another outfitter.
