I wouldn’t recommend having any type of business dealings with them. I would look elsewhere.

I had great archery hunts with bulletproof setups during my first of hopefully many seasons of hunting at Whitetail Crossing. Bryan and his team of guides (Jeremy, Anthony, Matt and Ryan) spared no efforts in trying to get me a trophy buck. Whitetail Crossing is intense hunting complemented by a leisurely and comfortable lodge experience. Thanks to Milly, the place was ultra clean, organized, and the quality and quantity of food was consistently excellent. Bryan Dirr is truly gifted in the art of stand and setup design. The degree of thought in creating bulletproof setups is truly nothing short of brilliant! Many outfitters do not take the time or effort to contemplate every aspect of what makes “the perfect” setup then incorporate as many of them as possible into every set. By choice, I predominately hunted hang-on and ladder stands. I used mainly Millennium Hang-ons and Family Traditions single man ladder stands. Stands were all safe, sturdy, and not noisy. The lock-ons all had a lifeline attached. Natural cover was extensively used and I was NEVER picked off on any of my sits. Care was taken to find the proper amount of natural cover (both to conceal hunter and aid animals sense of safety). Masterfully designed natural obstacles were laid out in a manner to channel traffic and obviously identify the intended “kill zone”. Many locations are specifically an AM or PM sit in order to maximize strategic advantages since often a location will not necessarily attract deer all day. They practice the “Hunt Smarter not Hunt Harder” philosophy. I jokingly refer to Whitetail Crossing as a Disney World for hunters. They capitalize on multiple attractions food/adequate cover for both offense (hunter) & defense (deer)/ water/established safe travel corridors/ and protected LOW PRESSURE sets with easy unobtrusive access. The best I can determine the guides work equally hard for ALL hunters regardless of any connections personally or with the “hunting industry”. All the guides are men of integrity, knowledge, skill, grit, and determination. I did not harvest during this trip, but I had a wonderful experience and plan to return.

So let me just say before i even filled my tag i was already having the best hunting experience of my life, literally had deer trying to get in the stand with me. So everything from the lodge, meals, guides, and every stand a sat in was top notch, i felt welcomed from the minute i got to the lodge. Ill definitely be booking with these guys again. #whitetailcrossing
