These are tent camps located on the San Juan National Forest in the Weminuche Wilderness. Over the years, this area has had a high rate of success with both elk and mule deer. Our camps sit at altitudes from 9,500 to 11,200 feet. These camps are set prior to your arrival and include wall tents, sleeping cots, heating stove, cooking stove, and complete kitchen with utensils. Also included in the camp is an ax, hatchet, shovel, saw, lanterns, and latrine. Maximum of 6 nights in camp.

This type of camp is when we pack you and your own gear to a camp site of your choice anywhere within our permited area. We would be happy to make suggestions if needed to help decide on a drop point. We supply riding horses, pack mules, and wranglers on a per animal per day cost, and game packing is available any time we are available to do so, for an additional cost.
