Couldn’t have asked for a better hunt experience. Tons of animals, professional and experienced guides. Success rate for all hunters in camp was almost 100% on deer, elk, and antelope. Absolutely recommend! Jordan Feller

Went out for Elk with TSO. Easiest review ever… 6 stars. Guide (Rudy) was exceptional, cabin accomodation perfect, food great and most importantly high quality Elk hunting. Already planning next trip back.

I want to start off that I’ve been on many hunts, successful and unsuccessful. I will tell my experience and you can make your own judgment of this outfit. This is for the mountain elk archery hunt. When I arrived first day my archery permit was not on my license, no big deal, honest mistake, it got taken care of. There are outfitters north and south and public on the west of the ranch you are allowed to hunt. I feel as if the elk are pressured. There will also be rifle antelope hunters on the same ranch you are archery elk hunting while you are hunting. Day 4 of the hunt the ranchers came in and moved all their cows to the pasture the majority of the elk were in and it was jacked up till the end after that, day 5 I was hunting all day in a wallow and guide would come an hour before dark to walk and call, he left his lights on and it was a 4 mile walk to get my pick up to jump start his. Frustrating, but honest mistakes happen. No big deal, I never met the owner a single time and got a “well sorry” from the guide when I left, he said they would reach back out and let me kill cow during rifle season, haven’t heard anything 3 weeks later and that’s about 5k difference. I would reconsider spending a bunch of money and burning points with this outfitter

Had a good time last year 2022 with TSO the guides worked hard putting us on antelope. Even tho the second and third day we're about 30 mph wind! Lots of animals, great food and great cabin to stay in.

Good outfitter. Everything was good all the way down the line (guides, accommodations, meals and, most importantly, the hunting). My group of three took two elk and three antelope. I would definitely use him again.

Just returned from a rifle antelope hunt I shared with my son at Tyler Sims Outfitting. It exceeded all my expectations. Our area we hunted had plenty of animals to choose and stalk. Our guide Rudy was very skilled and really fun to hunt with He made everyday a truly fun western hunting experience for the both of us. The accommodations were excellent as well. We stayed in the main lodge and it was very comfortable and had a chance to see the cabins as well and the hunters there were also quite happy with the set up. The meals were as good as you will find. Jan and Eric were exceptional cooks and even better people to share a conversation with. Tyler is a top notch outfitter with great land to hunt and accommodations that will not disappoint. I highly recommend this outfitter and his group of guides. Very impressive!!!

Four of us just did an antelope hunt all I can say is WOW it was better than I expected all four tagged out with nice bucks 2 really nice, our guide was great (Troy). Back at the headquarters it was very comfortable, the food was the best home cooked meals you could wish for main courses all the sides and homemade desserts. If you're thinking of booking do it you won't be disappointed.

Tyler Simms Outfitting is a great hunting experience. My daughter and I were there last year for antelope season and had a great time. The accommodations were great, the food was good, and our guide Ryan did a great job. We both took home quality bucks that we were happy with. I will be seeing them again in the next couple of years for elk and mule deer. Great outfit I suggest them to everyone looking to have a great Wyoming hunting experience.

Tyler and the rest of his crew run an outstanding operation. I have hunted twice with Tyler and cannot say enough about the effort put forward by Tyler. From the accomodations, meals , quality of animals and the people this is a 5 star operation. Can't wait to have the opportunity to hunt again with Tyler and his crew.

I have hunted around the world and feel I can give an honest opinion about this outfitting business. I have hunted twice with this outfitter and hope for the opportunity to hunt in the future with them. They don't lack for any detail to accommodate any level of hunter. From the guides, meals, lodging to the quality of game , everything is A+. A great Wyoming experience.

I cannot say enough great things about this outfitter, or the guides that are within the camp. From the very beginning it was a feeling of comradery from everyone within the camp. All of the guides treated everyone who was in camp with respect, not just their respective clients. The lodge and the cabins that are on site were above expectations. The cabins were complete with refrigerator, stove, small kitchen, bathroom with hot showers. I had the fortune of having Troy as my guide, who was voted the best guide in Wyoming for the 2017-18 hunting season. Our day began at 5 A.M. being served breakfast. All meals were exceptional as Tyler hires a cook on staff for the hunting season. After breakfast, we made our lunches with an ample number of snacks and water as you desire. In Pronghorn season, you will want to bring plenty of water FYI. Upon making my lunch, we packed all of our gear into the guides trucks and we left for our respective zones that we were fortunate to draw tags in. After the truck ride, we were driven directly to our blinds that overlooked watering holes. The blinds were exceptional, with permanent plastic/fiberglass blinds at 2 of the locations. I had the ability to sit in an Ameristep pop up blind. I am 6 foot 1 and I had ample room to sit and draw my bow without hitting the ceiling. Seating was more than desired, as they utilize the Cabela’s mesh style seat that made for all day comfort. I spent 2 days in the blind and felt Zero discomfort. Upon my 2 days I saw more than 100 Antelope each day. See photo for reference. I saw many shooter bucks on day one but chose to wait to see what the potential was in the field. Upon exiting the field, we saw an antelope that is in no doubt a “booner”. The next day I sat at the same blind. Upon another day of sitting, again I saw around 100 more antelope. By chance I had an Antelope come to the watering hole of which I chose to take. In the same day, the other hunter was able to harvest an antelope. 2 antelope out of the same zone, on the same day that both went pope and young. With the other hunter stating he saw 2 bigger bucks than what he shot that day. In summary, if you have any reservations about booking with Tyler, please do not. This was a fantastic experience, as this was my first out west trip. I had any questions and concerns that Tyler was able to address before my big trip out west. Again, a professional operation loaded with great people. You will not be disappointed when you book with Tyler Sims, I promise!

If you choose to hunt Wyoming go with TSO and you won't be disappointed. The lodge and accommodations are top notch and we will be back for years to come.

Archery antelopehunted with this outfitter for many years. Great outfitter and his guides work hard to make dreams come true. However hunting is hunting and you can't control the weather. When the hunting get hard his staff goes the extra mile.

Would not hunt with outfitter again. Three of us came home empty handed. No hunt is guaranteed, understood. Cabins were good, food was OK at best. Most blinds were in horrible shape. Torn up, flopping in the wind and spooking the Antelope. Seen cattle at watering holes in front of us, thats all. On one morning for sure we even had to set up a blind for my son. Now I don't live around antelope but my experience tells me they are not going to that watering hole until they are use to that blind, maybe not, but he didn't have any animals show up. Tyler gave us a great deal, probably because my son has an advanced illness and we had spoke to him for the past couple years, etc. The discounted price for our group was great but I think we probably paid for it in the end with not much effort towards us at all, probably put us in the slow areas, not sure. Hardly seen or talked to Tyler during the entire time there. Guide was a nice guy... they just drop you off and pick you up, so its all luck. Its not actually guided. Then of course you are expected to tip the guide for giving you rides to and from blind. The very last day guide let my son try to stalk an Antelope... no help, he sat in the truck and watched... I did my best to get him close, but no luck. Even the guide told us Tyler should step up and do something to help us fill our tags, give us another day, offer to bring us back really cheap, etc. Do something or at least act like the number one goal is to help us fill our tags. We were told, better luck next time and sent on our way. We waited for weeks and weeks to hear from Tyler about maybe a deal to go back, nothing. Finally we contacted him to see if anything was on the table for an offer... We were told we could go back for rifle season at "X" amount of dollars per guy, about 1/2 of what the rifle hunt would normally be is what I remember. We all just could not risk that much investment again a month later for possibly the same treatment/results. Just did not feel like it was a priority at all that we were successful. Just our experience. A lot of the problem was just no communication, we didn't see any desire on his part to make our trip successful, no drive at all or at least thats how it felt.

Patient and knowledgeable guides. Excellent food and accommodations. The atmosphere was that of your favorite hunting camp with the interaction of guides and hunters. LOTS of quality antelope (hunter success on antelope was 100% for the group while I was there) and from what I observed in camp, a good population of trophy elk. Very positive experience and would recommend this outfitter to anyone who wants to see and have the opportunity to harvest a Western game animal.
