Very impressed with these guys! I did a mountain lion hunt with Clint in 2024 and I’d have to say he worked dang hard to get me a cat! Tagged out in about 5 hours, Clint and his family made me feel welcome, provided amazing lunch and dinner.

They do deliver on the hunt for Antelope as they have a land lease on a private land that is full of Antelope. You will see games within the first 10 minutes of driving around. The hunt is not cheap for the services they provide. Yet, I found them to be very greedy and unprofessional. I traveled with a friend for this hunt and they requested the balance to be paid in cash on the day of arrival, which I am sure it is for tax reasons. We filled out the forms months ago and did not remember that the balance was due in cash. We offered to pay by Zelle or Venmo which they refused. They said they will invoice us. To my surprise they added $150 in administrative fee and another $75 as a service fee. Total of $225 added per person. We even offered to go to the bank in the morning to get cash and they said until the balance is paid in full we can't hunt. Their presentation is that they provide 3 days of room and board and food while on Camp plus the guided hunt and transportation of the game and field dressing, and preparation to transport to the butcher. For meals the only meal that they prepared was dinner. The first night they gave eggs and bacon and second night hot dog with chili. If I had these at a restaurant would cost me $20. Their request is that you tip the cook $150-$250 at the end of your trip equivalent of 15% tip on a $1600 meal if you had it at a restaurant. They also request that you tip the guide $550 per person after the hunt which for us was about 2 hours of driving around. Meaning $550/hr for a service that you have already been charged $4500. Frankly we didn't believe that tip should be mandatory for the minimal services provided and a $20 meal. To our surprise they invoiced us for the tips for the guide and the cook. We left the next day after getting our meat back from the butcher and not staying for the duration of the trip that was paid for. So frankly if you don't mind being insulted and just care about getting on a land to hunt then go with this outfitter. If you would like an experience that is happy and rewarding and not feel that you are being taken advantage of then chose another outfitter.

Had a great experience with these guys. They are the epitome of Wyoming outfitters. They take pride in successful hunts and doing everything they can to help their hunters. It was obvious that they had been in these mountains their entire life and knew them like the back of their hand. Will be booking more hunts with them when the tags are drawn.

I’ve hunted with the Trophy mountain outfitters team a few years ago. And let’s just say they are phenomenal!! They will work their butts off to get you in position to receive the best outcome for your hunt! The horses are top notch! The food and camp is unmatched along with the country. You can tell they take pride in what they do! I’ve been through a few guides throughout the years and a few different outfitters, And let’s just say none of them compared to a young guide named Taytin, he was an incredibly knowledgeable young man that knew how to handle horses and is strictly business when it comes to hunting. He is very talented and humble at what he does! Me and one of my life long friends managed to tag out on two of the biggest bulls ((6x6) and (6x7)) in camp that week! He is a great asset to there team and to the conservation community! You couldn’t ask for a better outfit and even better Guide!! This outfit is nothing but quality and I hope to come back soon if god be willing!

Awesome outfitter! First the camp cook, was phenomenal, we had a nice breakfast and lunch and plenty of snacks to take along for the days hunt, and a awesome supper each evening upon arrival from the evening hunt. The hunt itself was awesome, we were in the elk from the first evening upon arriving into camp. My guide, JD worked his butt off to help me get the bull of lifetime a beautiful 8x7. All in all this a great outfitter to hunt with and i will be back to hunt with them in the future. I personally chose the horseback wilderness camp to archery hunt for my elk and i got the experience i was looking for, couldnt have been better.

Having to wait for three years to draw my deer tag for Wyoming was well worth it. Never having been on a guided hunt, I was anxious to meet my hunting partners from South Dakota. The 2020 season was hot and dry, not what I was hoping for weather wise. After meeting the TMO crew at the OK corral, we headed to the trail head where our Guides packed and saddled our horses for the on hour ride to deer camp. On the way into camp we surprised a black bear about half way in, the ride in was spectacular with fall colors just getting started. Once in camp our cook Richard, immediately set in on an afternoon snack. Later that afternoon our guides saddled up for a twilight scouting trip and came back with encouraging news for the morning hunt. Richard cooked hamburgers with everything we needed to go with them. Later that evening Dustin "The Boss" rode in and decided to guide one of us in the morning, I didn't know at the time until we got on the mountain in the morning, that person just happened to be me! 4 a.m. came quick, a big breakfast, grabbed our lunches Richard made for us, Our guides had our horses saddled and lined up for us. Up the mountain we went, with too many switch backs to remember. I just had to remember to trust my horse and know he could see in the pitch dark, amazing animals!. Making to top of the mountain, everyone split up with their guides, this is when Dustin dis-mounted his mule walked over and whispered to me. There's a 230" buck that's been living off this point all summer long, grab your rifle, were going to kill him. The altitude was pretty tough on a 60 year old guy from Idaho, eventually we made it to the ridge and immediately saw deer. Across a deep cut just at 100 yards stood a young velvet buck wide as his ears looking right at us, not quite big enough for me as I judged him through my scope. Just then Dustin whispered hard telling me there were two big bucks down in the deep cut we looking across, the bucks spooked and headed up to the top. I'll never forger Dustin's words, shoot him! Shoot him! Leaning on my shooting sticks, I only had a matter of seconds before the bucks crested the ridge. The big buck was the last one to the top and not having a really good angle, the buck cut right at the top of the ridge. Having only one shot, I knew my .300 Win.Mag. could get the job done if I could shoot straight. Hearing the bullet impact the big buck headed into a small bunch of tall pines, then disappeared. It took awhile to get around the cut, I was a bit uneasy about not seeing my deer in the big saddle below us, glassing down and across the big saddle, we saw some deer but not my buck, Dustin decided to go back to where we saw the buck go into the small bunch of pines, while I stood on the side of the trees and thinking the buck may flush from the trees. Just then Dustin came walking out of the trees pointing in front of him where the biggest buck I've ever killed laid just ten yards from the bunch of pines. I was in a state of shock looking at the heavy beamed, tall typical 30" wide rack. After many photos I watched Dustin skillfully go to work boning out my deer and getting as much meat in to the game bags before the flies could get to it. After getting the meat and the head ready, Dustin hiked back to get the horses while I sat on the side of the mountain baby sitting my trophy. This was when I could soak up the beauty of wild Wyoming., Icing on the cake.. I can't thank Dustin Child and Trophy Mountain Outfitters enough for an unforgettable experience which will be with me forever. I am also honored to have a photo of me with my buck on the opening page of the Trophy Mountain Outfitters website.

I have been hunting with Dustin and his crew for 5 seasons and there is a reason why. He knows the territory as good as anyone around, his guides are top notch, they will match the hunt to your fitness and skill level, and the quality of the wildlife in that part of the Tetons is outstanding. Im planning my hunt with them next season already.
