Had an amazing hunt with Thunder Ridge Outfitters. Two of us hunted out of the drop camp located within a mile of where we hunted. The drop camp had everything we needed and more. Spent a few days glassing elk from where T.R.O. recommended and were on elk all three days prior to the hunt. Opening day we had a plan and harvested our first 6x6 by 7:15. That evening we located another bull (6×6) that we seen prior and we made it happen. Opening day we had both our tags filled!! If you are willing to put in some time glassing, hiking the mountains, cleaning and packing out your own harvest- then this hunt is for you. Highly recommend!! Thank You Ron and Randy!!

I went on a cow elk hunt with Ron, and had a great time. I learned more about elk hunting in one day than all the years of elk hunting combined. I plan on many more hunts with Thunder Ridge Outfitters.

What can I say, Randy is an amazing outfitter with tremendous amounts of hunting knowledge. I’ve been with him hunting elk, deer, antelope and mt lion with him and have been 100% successful with him!!! Don’t waste your time looking for other outfitters, Randy is definitely your man!!!
