This was our second year hunting with Tad Ladd West Kentucky Whitetails, and it was awesome again. You can tell Tad and his team work really hard in the offseason because everything looks great. The stands and blinds were in perfect spots. Freebaby was a really great guide. All the other guides were really nice and professional too, which made us feel at home. Miss Tina cooked some really, really good food. The lodge and all the facilities were great and super comfy. Big area to eat with a super nice kitchen! Many places to sit and watch tv also. My father and I went to Tads for first week of rifle 25' season with some friends of ours and what an organization he runs. Tads, his guides, miss Tina the chef, the cabins, the lodge etc etc was top notch. Pristine land to hunt, many big bucks, all guides were friendly and knowledgeable. We had Caleb and he was awesome. Getting us to and from stands, socializing and just being a good dude. They had countless millenium confort stands (big and comfortable) and blinds that were all in great/new condition. The stands were all accompanied by HSS safety lines that were perfectly setup and quiet. We couldn't have asked for a better trip and people to spend it with. Another Year in the Books !! l cannot praise this outfit enough. Tad and his guys put in thousands of hours to make ever farm a deer magnet through very detailed soil prep, plantings, fertilizing, mowings and stand placements. They work all year long on this endeavors to give every hunter the best chance to take a Good Trophy Buck. I took a very Nice 4 1-2 year old 8 pt on the first day this year and got to enjoy some relaxing time at the Lodge. The Facilities are just incredible !! The Lodge is an Amazing Gathering place of warmth and comfort after a great day in the field. Its grand dinning area with its awesome views comforts the soul. Then you are blessed with a fabulous meal by The legendary Miss Tina from the large very impressive Open Kitchen design. The walls are lined with pics of successful hunter and some awesome trophy deer and you can watch the game on the large Flat screen TX on comfortable couches that surround it. The three bunk houses are outstanding too, four rooms each with its own full bath a kitchens, dinning and living room with TV. I recently hunted at Tadladd outfitters . I’ve been to a lot of outfitters to deer hunt but this was my first time hunting here. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. From the top all the way down. The owner made it a point to meet everyone and get to know them. The guides were professional and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best opportunity to harvest a mature deer. Tina who prepared and cooked all the meals made delicious meals every day and welcomed you like you were family. Some of the most beautiful whitetail property I’ve hunted . The stands were nice and comfortable and set up for success . A lot of outfitters I have been with previously had a large number of hunters in every camp and you could tell it was all about numbers. Tadladd was quite the opposite. Low number of hunters at camp and it was not because of the lack of people wanting to hunt here. Tad doesn’t push high volume to get rich. He wants everyone that comes there to have the best opportunity and be successful. Every ladder stand or lock on hunted had a seat full of leaves ensuring me that it was not over hunted or pressured. There was no question I’d be rebooking for many seasons to come. I left camp to head home and Tad knew we would be driving through the night to get home. He asked me how long the drive was to home before we left and when I arrived home the next day I got a text from him within the hour making sure we got home safely. That is what it means to be part of the Tadladd family.

I had an incredible time hunting whitetail during the early rut with Tad Ladd West Kentucky Whitetails. There wasn’t a single day in the stand when we didn’t see deer… I watched a beautiful 8 point buck freshen his scrape, a doe drink from a tree stump, and even squirrels chasing each other around like they were rutting too. Every one of the guys.. Ben, Tate, Caleb, and Tad himself, who was our guide.. were absolutely top notch and a joy to be around. Hunted with Tad for the first time in the October, 2025 muzzleloader hunt. Accommodations were great. Our cabin was comfortable and clean. Not crowded and a really good atmosphere. The food is like no other. 10 out of 10 all day long. Tate was my guide. He was great. He did everything he could to put me where the deer should have been. Unfortunately the weather was horrible. 85 degrees and 30 mph winds are not conducive to big bucks moving. I did see deer, just not what I know Tad has on his leases. I will be back. I think everyone else in the camp had been there multiple times. There is a reason people go back year after year. I look forward to my next hunt with Tad.
