Switchback Outfitters is based near the Yellowstone Park area of Wyoming and Montana, offering premiere big game hunting in the Shoshone National Forest wilderness. They are licensed to hunt Elk Areas 50-54 in the Sunlight Basin, providing access to remote and diverse western landscapes with untouched wildlife. Hunts are often based out of their remote Upper Ranch, offering comfortable log cabin accommodations and first-class meals in rustic settings.

Our signature hunt is our late season limited-quota trophy elk hunt in which we hunt migrating bull elk traveling from Yellowstone National Park. We are capable of being very flexible and can accommodate all your late season limited quota elk hunts in Areas 50 thru 54.
