Minutes from Steamboat Springs, CO and surrounded by the Routt National forest is a vast area of private ranches that consist of some of the best elk habitat in the Rocky Mountains. Solitude Outfitters and Guides has access to several of these private ranches that hold elk throughout the seasons and provide convenient access for a limited number of elk hunters looking to experience the wild side of Colorado while still having the ability to enjoy all the amenities that Steamboat Springs has to offer.

Availability notes
Solitude Outfitters and Guides operates on a wait list. This year’s hunters get first access to next year’s dates, and unfilled spots get filled from a wait list (usually in June, after limited draw results are published). All OTC hunters are responsible for purchasing their own tags, and all limited draw hunters are responsible for applying for and drawing appropriate tags. Landowner tags may be available to purchase on a limited basis.
