★★★★★Everything about my short stay here was great!! Ms. Karen's cooking was amazing! Brandon's guided tour of the beautiful property was entertaining and informative! We were there off season and didnt participate in the hunting and fishing aspect (both looked to be very enjoyable). The beds was so very comfortable, bathrooms super clean, relaxing areas everywhere! Definitely plan to return!

Brandon is extremely knowledgably about the animals/property. He put a lot of effort into ensuring the guest were having fun and laughing!!! The accommodations and amenities are 5 stars. Bed are extremely comfortable!!!

★★★★★My son and I just returned home after visiting Soggy Bottom Lodge. I could tell you all about the giant bass my son caught and the monster deer my son harvested with the expert assistance of their #1 Guide Holston, but even that wouldn’t do SBL justice. By supper time on your 1st day you’ll feel like family. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel right at home. The lodges are beautiful and Miss Karen’s cooking can’t be beat. I can’t thank all of the staff enough for helping make the amazing memories my son and I were able to experience during our time at Soggy Bottom Lodge. We can’t wait to come back and visit with our new extended Alabama family!

★★★★★Very delicious food! I had a ribeye steak, baked potato and salad. The deserts were individually prepared in a cup that was just the right size. Shack 33 is great for parties and entertaining a group of friends. This place has a beautiful view from a hilltop overlooking a lake with mallard ducks swimming and quacking. Wide porches wrap around on the north and west sides of building to create a good flow during a party and a cozy atmosphere for the guest. The structure is very nice, but the friendly staff is what sets this place high on my list to recommend.
