This is a review of the horseback riding experience. I am a frequent rider, and this was one of the best rides I have ever been on. I was not constantly nagged, told what to do, yapped at througout the entire trip, or harassed about myself. There was pleasant conversation and amazing terrain. The owner on my ride answered all of my questions and shared his knowlege about Montana. The horses are treated well, too! The ride is on the property and in the National Forest, but it was so much better than my rides inside of Glacier (which were much more touristy/overly used jokes/business oriented). There were streams, forest, and open plain. I would absoluately recommend this horseback riding place! THANK YOU!!!

This was THE FAVORITE activity of many of our group the whole trip! Chance, our guide, was amazing, the area was gorgeous and the horses were so sweet. We got to ride all over the area through several gorgeous wooded areas and through the creek several times. We ran into a momma Moose during our ride and Chance handled it so calmly and so well. Highly recommend! We did the “just a taste” ride due to time but I would have loved to do a longer ride had time allowed it. Don't hesitate with this one. You won’t regret it!

Our ride with Snowy Springs Outfitters was one of the highlights of our trip! The horses were well cared for, the scenery was incredible, and our guide Chance was friendly and knowledgeable. One of the most memorable moments was when we came across a mama moose on the trail. Our guide stayed calm, handled the situation professionally, and did a great job getting the moose to move away while keeping everyone safe. It was exciting to see wildlife up close, and we felt confident knowing we were in good hands. The entire experience was fun, safe, and unforgettable. I would highly recommend Snowy Springs Outfitters to anyone looking for an amazing horseback riding adventure!

Awesome experience!! Very knowledgeable and took extra time to ensure we were saddled up correctly before taking off. Traveled through the area traversing running streams. We lucked out and encountered a cow moose that was likely protecting her calf. She charged near the group a couple times. Chance remained calm and turned us around another direction, keeping the group safe. Amazing experience overall and would definitely recommend if you are in the Glacier NP area!!

If you are looking for horseback riding, I HIGHLY recommend Snowy Springs Outfitters. We called last minute with a special request and they made it happen. My son was a first time rider and the horse he was put on could not have been more gentle. The ride was wonderful, through forested terrain and flowing creeks. The horses are very well cared for and Shawn and his crew were so accommodating. They also do pack trips which we will definitely be doing in the future. There are a lot of places to choose from but HANDS DOWN, Snowy Outfitters is the best. Look no further.

We had an amazing half day horseback ride in mid-June with Snowy Springs! Our guide Jorie - was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and made us feel totally at ease on the ride. The horses were well cared for and well trained - everything from start to finish was great and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The trail Jorie chose for us to take was breathtaking- up a mountain with incredible views and we had the the trail to ourselves! Everyone we interacted with (from booking to check-in, transportation to the trailhead etc.) was friendly and professional. We’d highly recommend Snowy Springs to anyone looking to do horseback riding while in the Glacier Park area!!

A wonderful little trail ride on the east side of Glacier National Park. Capri, the owner, got us on a ride the day of and was so sweet. Our wrangler, Chet was super nice, easy going and took us on an easy ride through some beautiful forest with a few small stream crossings. Lex was great too, helping us get set-up and on our way. Must do if you’re looking to trail ride in Montana.

5 stars isn’t enough to give these guys we did a 1 hour horse ride with them with two 7 year olds and it was by far the best ride we have done it was literally like going to someone’s house and riding in there back yard the girls absolutely loved it they are still talking about how much fun they had ! Amazing stay. Our tiny cabin was just amazing. Plenty of room, the kitchen is so clean and neat and we had some great meals. I cannot say in words how spectacular this place is. Hoss, Gibbs, Rosie, Shooter, Rip, Luna will be in our hearts forever. Capri & Shawn are salt of the earth good people. Seeing them work daily is humbling. Their ranch is an absolute paradise. I never write reviews but this place caused me to write this. There was nothing but positives. Comfy, cozy and squeaky clean. Beautiful views. Even the horses were great host. I hope to be back. We rode today with Chance from Snowy Springs Outfitters. The horses are very well mannered, we saw an Elk and our guide Chance saw a grizzly, as he led the four of us. The scenery is beautiful, and we crossed several creeks. Chance took extra care of Cheryl , she was terrified of riding and he made the experience wonderful for her. Shawn and Tim were very friendly and took great care of these Nebraska folks! The horses were gentle and very sure-footed. They have the nicest working dogs who kept us company as we enjoyed a picnic lunch after our ride. Our experience was fantastic. Our ride took us through creek beds and beautiful forest lands. The wild flowers and hummingbirds added to our pleasurable visit. Their trails were very isolated and we didn't see another human during our ride. We'd give them way more than 5 stars if it were possible ♡
