Thank you to Kenny, the amazing chef at Sky Rose Ranch, who sets the tone with welcoming kindness through his food, family, and smiles. The visitors who come to Mighty Oaks @ Sky Rose Ranch are there with anticipation, and sometimes anxiety. Being welcomed into his kitchen, warmly melts away formality, and one can relax. The environment is beautiful, but without the personal hospitality of the staff, it would simply be another pretty place in California. Perfect comfort, offering rest and peace.

My first pig hunt! Wow, what an awesome place for this to take place. Although I didn't get a pig...yet...I will be back for that. Jerad is first rate guide. Incredible how he can spot something so far away. He knows the place like the back of his hand and his patience is much appreciated. Oh, and we can't forget Jerad's lucky charm, Aspen. What a great dog! Thank you Wayne for allowing this incredible piece of land to not only be a working ranch but a hunting ranch. A beautiful piece of classic California!

This is the location for Mighty Oak Warrior Legacy Program. I will say it is truly amazing program. They have helped so many veterans, first responders, and their spouse's to move on from the trauma that has happened in their lives; as well as myself. Don't live by the lie that if you have PTSD you are unable to be repaired. If that was true we would all be a just broken empty vessels. PTS is just a normal response to an abnormal situation. Let me say that again. It is just a normal response to an abnormal situation. This program is free. Yup Free. How? Long story look it up. It's instructors are not just instructors. They have been through the program as well dealing with PTS. They know your trouble and have been there. No judgement passed. I cried more in one week than I have all my life. Hearing instructors testimonies, and the fellow students testimonies. You feel their pain because alot of us have that same pain. Guys it's time to stop faking you got it and let it go. If what you are doing isn't working, then why not try something different. You will be glad you did.

I've fallen in love with this place. It's peaceful, away from any city noise, and a breath taking view. No expense was spared on the accommodations. The yurts look small from the outside,but when you open the door you are greeted with a huge space that houses four people with room to spare. The yurts are equipped with a ceiling fan and an AC unit. Every person is provided with a table, a lamp, and a dresser. There are indoor and outdoor showers and sinks. You have access to a laundry fully stocked with detergent, fabric softener, and ironing board and iron. The main house is amazing. Spacious living room and dining room. Around the main house you have two hot tubs, a fire pit that overlooks the property, and entertainment room equipped with a full size pool table, dart board, game consoles, and a computer. Dinner is first class prepared by local chef using all fresh ingredients locally grown.
