She and her three dogs were absolutely phenomenal - Rio, Jane and Lorrie were well trained and got on birds quickly. It was amazing to watch them working the fields. ★★★★★Every opportunity I have had to work with The Sawbriar has been an excellent experience. I am a wildlife biologist with Quail Forever that has written management plans for The Sawbriar. They are doing great wildlife management and have a very open mind to new types of management to add to the property. They have been great partners and do a lot with the general public to increase awareness for the return of Bobwhite management. Great people and great community. Anyone interested in Bobwhite quail should visit and talk with The Sawbrair!

★★★★★I had a wonderful experience hunting at the Sawbriar today. I’ve hunted a lot of wild birds; pheasant in South Dakota and quail in Arizona. To echo some of the other reviews, The Sawbriar is a close as it gets to a wild bird experience, the guides are first rate (had Ronnie today), the lodge and accommodations are extremely well done, and it is evident that this is a real passion project for the owners (Fred and Rhonda). Oh, and don’t miss out on the lunch trip to Tiffany’s at RM Brooks for a delicious fried bologna sandwich… Can’t wait to get back out there!
