★★★★★I can honestly say this was one of the most memorable and enjoyable trips I’ve ever taken. From the start, Jimmy was as genuine and straight forward as they come. There were no inflated promises or “guarantees”—just an honest, experienced perspective on what elk hunting really is. The hunt itself was everything you’d hope for in terms of a backcountry elk hunt. Even though we didn’t come home with any elk, I never once felt disappointed in the experience. I had multiple shot opportunities and was in the elk every day of the hunt, but just wasn't able to make it happen. One thing I can guarantee is that the guides at RBO will never stop pushing to get you an opportunity at an elk. Beyond the hunt, the overall experience was top-notch. Great people, great food, and a lot of laughs. If you want an authentic, challenging, and incredibly fun elk hunting experience with an outfitter who truly cares about the hunt and the people they're guiding, this is the outfit for you.
