Rifle Elk Hunts (Draw tag on your own)
Our draw rifle elk hunts offer a rare opportunity to pursue mature, trophy-quality bulls during a special, limited-tag season. While we do have a small number of tags available, many hunters successfully draw on their own, and we’re happy to help guide you through the application process. These hunts take place when elk are often still bugling and rutting late into October, creating an exciting combination of rifle hunting with rut activity. You’ll experience thrilling encounters with vocal bulls while having the added advantage of a rifle in hand. Our knowledgeable, experienced guides are by your side every step of the way, helping judge antler size and identify truly mature bulls so you can make a confident, informed decision when the moment of truth arrives.

Bighorn Sheep, Moose, Mountain Goat Hunts
Our moose, bighorn sheep, and mountain goat hunts represent some of the most coveted opportunities in the West. These are limited draw tags, with the application period running from April 1st through April 30th each year. Because these tags are considered once-in-a-lifetime opportunities in Idaho, careful preparation and experienced guidance are critical. Mountain Lion1 hunt
Mountain Lion Hunts
Mountain lion hunting with us is an authentic houndsman pursuit that showcases the arduous nature of the country and the talent of exceptional hounds. Our dogs are highly trained, experienced, and absolutely love their job—working tracks with determination until they locate a mature tom. Depending on conditions, we use horses, trucks, ATVs, and snow machines to cover country efficiently and cut a fresh track before turning the hounds loose. Once a cat is treed or bayed, the hunt often becomes a physical challenge, requiring hunters to hike through steep, rugged terrain and sometimes deep snow. For that reason, clients should arrive in good physical condition and prepared for a demanding but incredibly rewarding adventure. We encourage all of our hunters to buy a wolf tag as well.
Mule Deer1 hunt
Mule Deer Hunts
Our general season rifle mule deer hunts take place in prime habitat known for its high density of mule deer and strong buck-to-doe ratios. As the season unfolds, mature bucks begin to shift patterns, and their movement can be heavily influenced by changing weather conditions—often creating excellent opportunities when cold fronts and storms roll through. Hunts are based out of comfortable, traditional wall tent camps that offer an authentic Western experience, and horses are your primary mode of transportation, allowing us to access remote basins, ridges, and timber pockets where trophy bucks like to hide. This is classic, spot-and-stalk mule deer hunting in big, beautiful country.
Black Bear1 hunt
Spring Bear Hunts
Our spring bear hunts offer an incredible opportunity to pursue mature black bears in some of the most scenic country in Idaho. We hunt primarily over bait and maintain a large number of active bait sites to provide consistent opportunities throughout the season. Most of our baits are accessed on horseback, giving you a true backcountry experience as you ride through remote country to your stand. The bears we hunt come in a wide range of beautiful color phases—black, chocolate, cinnamon, and blonde—making every encounter exciting and unique. Spring is the perfect time to explore the Boulder-White Cloud Mountains, as the country comes alive with green hillsides, snow-capped peaks, and active bears emerging from their winter dens. Bear hunts are conducted out of a lodge, hunters stay in comfortable cabins with showers and bathroom. Each morning and evening home cooked meals are served.
Wolf1 hunt
Wolf Hunts
Wolf hunting is one of the most challenging and rewarding pursuits we offer. These are demanding hunts that require time in the hills, patience, and persistence in true big country—because the only way to cross paths with wolves is to cover lots of ground. We locate wolves by covering country on horseback, glassing vast expanses of terrain, and using howling techniques to spark a response and pinpoint their location. It’s a game of strategy, endurance, and grit. For those looking to increase their odds, hunters can also accompany us on our trapline, where opportunities at a wolf can improve significantly. If you’re seeking a hard-earned, tough, predator hunt, this is it.
