Best hog hunting experience I've had in Alabama. The communications with Red Road Outdoors was very professional. All of my questions were answered quickly. They go out of their way to make your hunting experience the best it can be. The accommodations were adequate. I was there to hunt and that is what I got to do. Unless you like to walk, I recommend an ATV. Prior to the hunt, game pictures were sent from the stands so we could plan our hunt early. Our group of 4 saw 17 hogs over a 2 day hunt. I harvested a 230 lb boar on the second night. It's called hunting for a reason, Red Road Outdoors gives you the opportunity, the rest is on you. I'm already booking my next hunt. Thank you Red Road Outdoors! UPDATED. Just finished my 4th and 5th hunt with Red Roads. Another awesome experience. We had one member of our party that did nothing but complain from the time he arrived. He left early and I was glad. The accommodations are rustic and that is known upfront. There is a separate bunkhouse that only has beds in it which is nice if you don’t want to sleep in the top bunks of the main house. Main house has what you need. A bed, kitchen, and bathroom. Perfect if you care more about hunting. The staff go out of their way to try and put you on hogs. We were successful again this time. As always we appreciate you Red Road Outdoors. We will be back soon.

The place was a dump no running water we were supposed to stay for a 3 day hunt but we where ready to leave when we saw the lodging. I’ve hunting all over the country but never stayed in a place without running water

We had an absolutely incredible time at Red Road Outdoors! Shannon and his team were amazing hosts from start to finish. The stands were in excellent condition, and you could tell that every detail was thought through to give us the best experience possible. They truly went above and beyond at every step of the hunt. We were fortunate to see plenty of hogs, take a few down, and share a great time together in the process. This was exactly the kind of hunt we were hoping for and more. The red road outdoors is an awesome experience! Went for a bachelor party and had a great time harvesting some wild hogs! We ended up with 10 hogs total between 5 guys. Everyone got to harvest a hog and bring back the meat butchered up by a local legend named TC. Very nice butcher and Shannon was also a great guy to work with and planning this hunting trip. This place was amazing! They are good guys who just love to hunt and will treat you right. They have good lodging with a place to clean your hogs. When I downed a hog there was a tree covering the trail to get to it and the guys came out at 9:00 at night to cut the tree up so I could retrieve my hog. I highly recommend this to anyone and I will be back!

Just completed my first hog hunt and first hunt at this type of facility. Even though i wasn’t successful in harvesting a hog i still thourougly enjoyed myself and got to see some deer and a bobcat. Two others iin my group harvested hogs. All the hunting area’s are superbly marked and signed, and the stands and shooting houses were in excellent condition. It was an awesome experience and the staff was informative, supportive and genuinely wanted you to be successful in your hunt and experience. I definitely want to go back.

It was a good hunt. They put us on hogs. Both days. We seen total 15 in two nights hunting. They have a cleaning place with water hose. .We found if u bring a battery saws all works perfect. They have hacksaw. We book two others already. They have sleeping quarters. I recommend this place.

I have hunted with Red Road many times since they started up. Each trip has been an experience and a lot of fun. Many improvements have been made over the years to the operation. I have shot hogs on every trip but one, and on that particular trip everyone else in my group shot hogs. It just was not my turn. You will have an opportunity to get a hog if you put in the effort. I highly recommend them. I will definitely be back soon. Shannon and the guys do everything they can to get you on the hogs.

This is THE place to go if you want to sleep in a cabin that is a combination of deliverance and evil dead. Had a raging headache from the mold in the house all weekend. No hogs were spotted over the two night trip and countless hours in the stands between 5 of us. The floors were all spongy, sitting on the toilet made you feel like you’re on a trampoline or orbiting Earth- take your pick. Also- unless you have a 4x4 you will barely make it to the camp itself. Let alone the stands. The bunk beds are made for people 5’ 9” and under. If you are taller, prepare for the fetal position.

Best place I have been to hunting wild boar, accommodation was great, plenty of room, and even 1 separate cabin for the Loud Snoring person, seen plenty of hogs and will definitely be going back. If you like to shoot long range, Red Roads Outdoors will have 2 stands so you can reach out to bust a hog.
