★★★★★The most amazing experience possible. I was with the JCC Ranch Camp for this first ever trip. When we got to Red Feather Guides & Outfitters, I knew my group and I were going to have fun. Our guides, Doug, Ash, and Zoe were awesome. The cabins were comfortable and the animals were so sweet. I rode Fred, the best horse ever. All in all, best trip ever! I'm definitely bringing my family next time.

★★★★★Our family of six went on a two hour horseback ride and had a great time. Its a good chunk of money for a family our size (my wife's and my fault) but we bit the bullet and are glad we did. Its a family owned business and the owners really are hard working and go out of their way to make sure their guests are taken care of in regards to fun and safety. My 8 year old son was trained and handled the horse beautifully, we saw a young moose and were efficiently taken out of harms way, and overall felt very satisfied with the experience.

★★★★★We just returned from a horse pack fishing trip with Arnie’s group of experienced guides and wranglers, we had a great trip. The horses were awesome and knew how to handle even the toughest trails. Our guides; Smokey, Zack and Craig were equally great and fun to be with. The meals and equipment were first rate. We were already talking about the next trip. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wants to go to the wilderness for a once in a lifetime trip. Don’t expect huge fish, but there are plenty of brook trout and browns to keep you busy as the growing season is short and ice is on for longer periods of time at the altitude we were at. ★★★★★Went on a 2 hour trail ride with my 6 and 9 year old daughters and our experience and guide, Andrew were great! He was so patient and accommodating (taking the time to punch extra holes to make the stirrups fit better for us shorties) and made sure the girls were comfortable on their first trail ride but let them actually experience it! The ride was stunning and I was pleased it was just our group of 3 instead of a long line of others with us I have experienced at other outfitters in the past. Cannot recommend them enough!
★★★★★Red Feather has a well run business. My wife and i are in our seventies and did a 4 hour ride. Smoky and Zack were our trail bosses and they were wonderful. They gave us great safety and handling instructions before the ride. All through the ride they made us comfortable and helped us get on and off our horses. Our horses were great. They were well behaved and followed the lead horse very well. To have luncheon on top of a mountain with beautiful views you can't get any better than that. I can't say enough about about how much we felt Red Feathers genuinely cared about our experience.
★★★★★I simply cannot say enough positive things about the good folks at Red Feather Guides & Outfitters! My husband and I recently enjoyed one of their day trips and it was over the top perfection. I surprised my husband with the excursion and he was thrilled. Arnie & Tricia helped me select and create a getaway guaranteed to make both of us happy. We arrived in Walden and stayed at one of the cabins on site which was very cozy and immediately felt like home. The next morning, James & Matt guided us on horseback to a stunning high country lake for an afternoon of fishing before a relaxing ride back to the cabin. The scenery was unparalleled, the horses were gentle and sweet, and James & Matt were incredible guides! They kept us laughing and engaged throughout the entire trip with local legends and stories about the history of the area. After a day of riding and fishing, we grilled some dinner and slept like babies in our cabin. It was perfect!
