About this package
Congratulations if you have drawn an archery or muzzleloader tag for unit 66. This is a limited draw unit and it has more than it's fair share of large trophy bull elk. We offer guided hunts for these licenses in the La Garita Wilderness. We pack in about eight miles to a comfortable camp in some of the best hunting in Colorado. Success is almost one hundred percent for trophy 5 and 6 point and up bull elk. Our camps come with spacious heated tents and a camp cook to serve meals. Packing camp in and out is done on horseback.

Archery season begins September 2nd and ends September 30th. Limited draw unit 66. We pack in about eight miles to a comfortable camp in some of the best hunting in Colorado. Success is almost one hundred percent for trophy 5 and 6 point and up bull elk. If you have both a deer and elk tag, you can hunt both on the same trip at no additional cost. Hunts are typically 5 or 7 days. 7 Day Hunts: Pack in on Friday, Hunt 5 Full Days, Pack Out Thursday Morning. 5 Day Hunts: Pack in Thursday Morning, Hunt Thursday Half Day + 3 Days, Pack Out Monday Morning.
