Seen an abundance of deer and was able to harvest a great buck on the second day of the hunt. Would highly recommend Premier Outfitters to anyone looking to hunt trophy whitetail in Kentucky.
★★★★★I’ve hunted with Premier Outfitters many times over the years and can confidently say they run a first-class operation. I’ve personally killed multiple 140”- 150” class bucks with them and my dad was able to kill a 180” hunting with premier as well. The guides are outstanding they know the properties, deer movement, and how to put hunters in the right position. You can tell they truly know what they’re doing and they are a large part of the reason I hunt with Premier as much as I am able to. Mark the owner is always around, which makes a huge difference in comparison to other outfitters i’ve used. We spend every evening enjoying the company of the owner, guides, and other hunters at dinner. It is such a great experience with stories told that I will remember the rest of my life. On top of that, the lodging is and always has been great. I have hunted with premier multiple times over the last 10 years staying in multiple lodges. Every lodge i’ve been in has been very clean and comfortable. Very enjoyable to come back to after all day rut hunts. Premier Outfitters is a professional operation, and I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a top of the line whitetail hunt.
★★★★★Had an amazing trip with Premier Outfitters. The accommodations were amazing and the staff were top notch. The owner Mark Clifford was very knowledgeable and professional. You could tell he only wanted all of the hunters to be successful. At the end of the day it is hunting and you can't predict precisely what a deer will do but you could tell the guides definitely had done their homework. I had a successful hunt and harvested a dandy on day 2. I cannot say enough nice things about this Outfitter and its staff. I will definitely be back. And I would highly recommend Premier Outfitters to anyone who is looking for an opportunity to harvest a trophy whitetail. 💯
★☆☆☆☆Coming here is just luck of the draw. No real scouting is done. You are randomly placed in a stand whether there’s deer or not. Guides don’t really care and are not helpful. Their main goal is for you to get a small buck so they can find you $1,500. On the last day the fine goes up to $3,000. (I was not fined but others were). After the hunt heading back to lodge one hunter drank one truly can and he and another hunter that did not have anything to drink were thrown out of camp for consumption of alcohol (one truly can). There are many other places in Kentucky to hunt at. Go to any of the other ones. The owner of premiere lives in South Carolina. He’s not even there most of the time.
★☆☆☆☆A very disappointing hunting experience compared to when I was there 2 years ago at there new lodge, that I found out was sold and that we were now hunting a different area and farm after we got there. I will say the facility and cook were excellent. But I came here to see and possibly get an opportunity to hunt trophy deer as advertise at a facility and location we hunted before. The guides were inexperienced the stands were new but poorly constructed and the seat slipped off its support causing two us to fall to the foot rest part of the stand and one of us dropping his gun. Hunting the same farm on the same stand for 3 straight 12hr days. and the last day to a broken down box stand that one of my guys shot and the guides could find the day before.
★☆☆☆☆I recently spent 5 days here and frankly could not be more disappointed. The experience of our group was one of extreme disregard and lack of professionalism. Our guides were new, meaning they didn’t really know the properties therefore were unable to predict deer movements. The stands were old and in need of repair which was only discovered by us hunters upon arrival at 5:30 a.m. on morning hunts. The attitude of the owner is really unknown as we didn’t see him but once during our stay. Even after half of our camp left in frustration… I felt as though the hunters in our camp were really just pawns in the game of outfitters. We saw no shooter bucks as we were told they were not moving, but the other lodge to my knowledge” had kills everyday during this time frame. Hunting is hunting. Professionalism is something else as well as morals. No part of the website shows anything I saw. Lodge photos, properties, food, hospitality, anything. This was ultimately an extreme disappointment and I could not would not recommend this outfitter to anyone.

I loved all of my experiences but once I visited Premier Outfitters, Mark Clifford his staff from the guides, chef and the facilities I have found myself back here for the 3rd year. Mark Clifford is a real class act and all his guides and cook follow his example of how to make this a memorable experience for you and your guest (if desired) we (my son Blake) and I have hunted at Premier several times over the years and it never disappoints it's like his farms seem to be overflowing with Big mature whitetail as he knows to let them grow. Watching these monster bucks chase does all day all around you is an experience that needs to be had by all hunters. Not to mention I harvested the biggest buck of my life here a 170 class whitetail.. what a day to remember. 5 stars all the way and the food and comradery with all the other hunters at the dinner table and fire pit is absolutely second to none.

I had hunted at a few other Kentucky outfitters before finding Premier. Since then I have come back every year with great success and comfort. ★★★★★I don’t do many reviews but wanted to share my experiences at Premiere Outfitters. I have hunted with many outfitters across the Midwest. Now I only go to Premier. Many don’t tell the truth about acreage and pressure. They have huge beautiful farms with very low pressure and lots of mature age bucks. Been there 10 years in a row and have killed 5 nice bucks. I have had a great hunt every time. Nicest bunch of people you could imagine. Great food and lodging. Best outfitters I have ever been to.

The work you instantly see they put into making sure you not only have a safe and great hunt, but a great all-around experience on both trips. Can't speak for everyone but we had 75% success between us. I could have easily made it 100% on more than one occasion, but I passed many chances on the 1st trip which was only three #3 days. Great experience, could not say enough about the Lodge, food, guides, hunting, and God's all-around beautiful creations I was able to be a part of. ★★★★★Me and my buddy Sam every year do at least 1 to 2 paid hunts every season. We have been to western Kentucky the last 3 seasons and 2 of the 3 were at Premier Outfitters. It is hands down one of the best outfitters in the business. Mark Clifford and his group of guides do their absolute best to make the experience a memorable one. My 2023 hunt was late rut and I killed my first buck at Premiere Outfitters within the first 45 minutes of good light. Actually had the biggest buck of my life run by so fast I couldn’t get a shot off quick enough. It was barely daylight but what an experience just to have seen such a magnificent mature buck. I counted at least 5 or 6 more bucks within minutes of each other . I killed my buck shortly after. Quin and Jeffery were my guides that season and I got to hang out with them for 3 days waiting on my buddy Sam to tag out. Like I said they take great care of you and provide you with whatever you need. My 2024 hunt at premier was about the same and we got to stay in the new lodge which was awesome .Mr Brian kept our stomachs full with his great cooking. This time was opening weekend of rifle season early rut and I killed a 227lb mature wide 8 point also within the first hour of my first hunt like the previous season. My Buddy Sam let a lot of good ones walk the previous season with Premiere but on our 3rd day of 2024 hunt Sam closed the deal on a stud making it his best buck to date. We both plan on another season with Premier outfitters soon I highly recommend Premier Outfitters to anyone looking for a great experience. Mark Clifford thank you for the great time and for having such a great Outfitter organization.

★★★★★Had another incredible early season velvet hunt at Premier Outfitters of Western Kentucky. I hunted on a cattle farm and must have seen 30-40 deer each evening. My target buck a 150s full velvet 9 came in on the 2nd night. Unfortunately he made a big circle in trying to wind me he took his time making his way down the ridge hopped the fence and made a bee line for the corn pile right at dark. I had him at 27 yards but because it being so dark it made for an extremely challenging shot and I unknowingly ended up shooting out of the bottom of my peep and watched the arrow soar right under him but that's bowhunting. I shot a great velvet buck last year and the year before had an opportunity at a giant 150s velvet 8. I am already booked and looking forward to next year and will be booking the first 2 weeks of season. Mark's new lodge is incredible and is more like a hunting compound, very comfortable, top notch food, huge fire pits I could go on and on. Not only do they have giant velvet bucks and have them so patterned, Mark and his guides and staff are what make me come back every year, they are such good people and when you are there you are treated like family and he will do everything he possibly can to put you on big deer. I feel very blessed to have a place like this to escape to every year and look forward to it so much. If you haven't booked with Mark Clifford yet you ought to!
