★★★★★What a fantastic way to experience the Montana mountains: On horseback. It was only my second time on a horse, but Alan sorted out everything and I had a briliant time. Highly recommended for hunting as well, as we saw 2 black bears within perfect shooting distance.

Mounting a horse at dawn, then riding that horse through steep terrain, splashing through stream, then arriving at our glassing spot to see a pristine panorama of the mountains and valleys. . . it was simply epic. Alan was driven to hunt and easy to talk to, and his wife was an absolute joy. She fed me like family and chatted with me like an old friend, making me feel at ease in her home. I'll certainly be heading for future hunts with Alan and the fam! Quick note - be cautious of you have a dog allergy. Their property has multiple dogs that will greet you excitedly every time they see you!
★★★★★Allen was our guide for our fall 2025 backcountry rifle elk hunt. He did a great job of locating elk and getting us into position to harvest an elk. His knowledge of the elk habits and terrain was excellent. If given the opportunity to utilize his services as a guide in the future, I would not hesitate for a second.
★★★★★Alan was a fantastic guide. He took me up past 10k feet to get this goat. His horses were well taken care of and they got us thru some very difficult terrain with ease. He got me on the Billy no problem and at no point pressured me to take the first goat we saw. He made sure I was comfortable with the shot and the animal we were going for. He was easy to talk to, fun and kept me hydrated. I had a once in a lifetime experience both in the hunt and with the company I kept. Great guide and I will be sure to use him in the future, especially once my kids get old enough to go!
★★★★★Alan worked hard to make a once in a lifetime opportunity a memorable experience for me. My mountain goat hunt was an adventure. He has an incredible knowledge of the unit. We were able to shoot a beautiful Mountain Goat after covering some of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. My brother came along to see the hunt and it was an incredible experience for both of us.
