PNWOutfitters is a veteran-owned and operated outfitter offering guided big-game hunts on 165 square miles of rugged public land in Idaho's Panhandle Region (Units 6 & 7). They specialize in free-range hunting for species like elk, deer, moose, bear, and mountain lion, emphasizing customer service and sustainable practices. Hunts are based from a full-service camp near Avery, ID, or cabins for late-season trips.

Black Bear1 hunt
5-day Black Bear Hunting Trips
We use bait for our guided black bear hunts. Our expert guides bait in the morning, while clients hunt in the afternoon. This black bear hunting package includes food, guide services, as well as a full-service campsite. Hunters have their choice of double-man tree stands or ground blinds, which are set up for both archery and rifle hunters. In our hunting units, hunters have the opportunity to take two bears, and we have seen black, cinnamon, brown, and blonde bears.
Mountain Lion1 hunt
5-day Mountain Lion / Bobcat Hunting Trips
This hunting package occurs during snow conditions. We use dogs and snowmobiles to hunt the big Idaho mountain lion. Bobcat hunting, cabin accommodations, food, and expert guide services are included. We encourage hunters to take Idaho bobcats or gray wolves to help keep nuisance predators in check. Our Mountain Lion hunts are in rugged terrain and will require clients to hike in the snow.
Elk3 hunts
5 or 7-day Rifle Elk Hunting Trips
This elk hunting package includes one of two trophy elk hunts either during the week of 10 - 16 or 17 - 23 October. An Idaho Elk B Tag is required. Price includes food, expert guide services (2:1 guide ratio), and a full-service campsite. In Northern Idaho, we offer Elk Hunting for Rocky Mountain elk, and you could experience opportunities for 300+ class animals. Rifle Elk Hunting season is 10 - 29 October. These are NOT controlled hunts! Our Elk hunts are free-range hunts in rugged terrain and will require clients to hike to prime Elk habitat.
7-day Archery Hunting Trips
This archery hunting guide package includes your option of trophy elk hunts, mule deer hunts, or whitetail deer hunts. Price includes food, expert guide services (2:1 guide ratio), and a full-service campsite. Archery season for Idaho mule deer hunting and Idaho whitetail deer hunting in our hunting area is from 30 August - 30 September.
7-day Late Season Rifle Combo Hunting Trips
This hunting package includes five days of elk hunting and seven days of whitetail deer hunting. Idaho Elk A Tags and Deer tags are required. Price includes food, expert guide services (2:1 guide ratio), and a full-service campsite.

7-day Late Season Rifle Trophy Deer Hunting
In Northern Idaho, our deer hunting packages offer you the chance to go either mule deer hunting or whitetail deer hunting. Rifle season for whitetail deer hunting is from 10 October - 14 November in Unit 6 and 10 October - 9 November in Unit 7. Mule Deer Hunting is restricted to only antlered animals from 1 - 14 November in Unit 6 and 1 - 9 November in Unit 7. Non-resident deer hunting tags can be used to take a black bear, mountain lion, or gray wolf if the opportunity presents itself and if you've purchased an additional tag.

This hunting package includes food, expert guide services (2:1 guide ratio), and a full-service campsite. Mule Deer Hunting is restricted to only antlered animals from 1 - 14 November in Unit 6 and 1 - 9 November in Unit 7.
Moose1 hunt
Moose Hunting Trip
This is a customized draw moose hunting package and is dependent upon availability. Moose Hunters must apply for Moose Hunting tags and should schedule your hunting trip only after you have acquired your moose hunting tags. In our hunting areas, specifically unit 6, we have trophy cyrus bull moose.
Wolf1 hunt
Wolf Hunting
Wolf Hunting is coming soon. We encourage clients to purchase additional Predator Hunting tags since our hunting area is authorized to take five wolves per season.
