Shiras Moose hunting in Idaho is a controlled hunt with tags provided via a lottery draw system. Hunters must apply for a controlled Moose hunt between April 1-30 each year. We will happily help potential Moose hunters with the application process. Our Moose hunting areas 12-2 and 12-4 offer some of the best moose hunting in the lower 48.

Availability notes

Controlled hunt with tags provided via a lottery draw system. Must apply for a controlled Moose hunt between April 1-30 each year. Draw results posted around the first of June each year. Applicants must pay in full the cost of license and tag during the April application window. Dates and Prices can be coordinated prior to the Application Window or after the Tag Results are posted.
