Outstanding hunting experience. Went for a 2 dat teal hunt. We did not limit, but the two guides (Josh and Jordan) assigned to our group of 4 shooters worked their tails off getting us into the birds. They were both really nice guys, and clearly know the area and how to work them into our spread. Old school feel to the lodge. Beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of space. They had a light breakfast for us both mornings. Ben smoked a pork shoulder for lunch the 2nd day. It was wonderful. We already booked a 2 day trip in December for the big ducks. Highly recommend hunting with this outfit. You wont regret it!

Great place to rent for a large group. The two buildings can comfortably accommodate a dozen people. The kitchen is well-equipped, the deck is huge, and the dock is perfect for putting your boat into Reelfoot Lake for fishing or just relaxing. Our two families used this as our base of operations for trips to Reelfoot Lake State Park and Discovery Park of America. While a grocery trip is fifteen minutes away, there's a convenience store within a three-minute walk. The one minor problem we did have during our trip was handled by Ben Parker very promptly. I cannot recommend this more strongly.

Parker's primarily serves those engaged in the two most popular activities in the Reelfoot Lake area - hunting and fishing. We, however, contacted him about a boat cruise for out hiking and outdoor club. Ben was helpful, immediately enthusiastic, and was willing to provide just what we needed - an extended boat tour of Reelfoot Lake. He advised that we would need to be flexible because of weather conditions and assured us that he would be as well. This was important because we had to postpone a day due to heavy rain. This was not a cushy pontoon boat cruise. Ben and his colleague took a dozen of us to the far reaches of the lake. Reelfoot is shallow and swampy and Parker's had the right equipment to get us there safely. It is unlikely the other cruises would be able to reach many of the spots we visited. We saw eagles, a number of duck species, and other waterfowl. We got to see the huge variety of native vegetation and the iconic bald cypress trees in all sorts of settings. Ben is clearly interested in providing customized services that go above and beyond his bread and butter. He was easy to work with, easy to reach, and has a customer service attitude. We couldn't have been more pleased and felt it was well worth the investment.

Never been able to work it out to hunt with Ben and his crew but have had several conversations over the years and I can honestly say he is a class act running a great outfitter on the lake. 3 years ago I traveled back to Tennessee to hunt for the first time since I was a kid and decided to self guide since I had my boat and of all the guides on the lake he took time out of his day to help point me back in the right direction when he could have turned his head the other direction. If your looking for a guide you have definitely found the one because these guys know how to put you on them!!
