Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This place has some of the best guides in the country that will put you on birds day after day. The lodge and food were amazing. If you’re looking for a place to come and have a lot of fun and kill lots of birds this is it!

Awesome experience with Mallard View Mallards and crew. Noah and his guys run a tip-top operation up there. They are always trying to put you on the best hunt and experience they can regardless of the weather or circumstances. The lodge provides the perfect experience to relax with friends or clients and the food is always excellent. Mountain View is one of my favorite places in the country to waterfowl hunt and there is nowhere else that provides the consistent hunting success that Noah and his guys provide year after year.

Start off with saying 10/10 experience. My dad and I make a destination hunt a yearly thing for us, it’s our tradition and we have ran into our fair share of low quality guiding companies. I have also been on multiple guiding trips with friends and nothing touches the experience I had at Mountain View mallards! These guides go above and beyond to make sure you are prepared, safe, and having fun. On top of that, the lodging is very nice and clean and the food was off the charts delicious. At the end of the day, going on a trip like this should be all about the experience and the limits of birds is just a bonus! Luckily, we got the bonus part too , but was highly satisfied with the experience as well. If you’re looking for your next waterfowl hunt, check out Mountain View Mallards, you won’t be disappointed.

Three days of follies…. - first day pond hunt all ice breakers fuel leaked out on the ground - second day - a bit of set up confusion with the new guide on our goose only beet field hunt - third day - gar hole We really needed to hit every bird (can’t miss) to get limits. Cost is no longer commensurate with experience…

I’ve been coming here for 5 years and disappointed with the experience this season. They cannot manage having two groups at the same time and will prioritize the new customers over you. They mislead you by sayings you will kill mallards everyday, in reality one of the days is geese only… In addition, we found out the guide we were with was bad mouthing us, calling us idiots to the other guides… very disappointing after spending $3,000 for 3 days.
