Just got back from a hunt with MTO. Forrest and his guides are top notch! We had Daniel and he was a methodical killer! We had elk from day one and I don’t say that lightly. When you’re glassing 150 elk of a morning with groups of 10 bulls here and 15 bulls there, I’d say they're doing something right! The accommodations, lodging, food were also top notch! Wether you’re looking for a first time experience or you’re a seasoned elk hunter I’d highly recommend these guys, you won’t be disappointed!

This is nothing shy of a fantastic operation. Forrest cares deeply about his hunters and that they have as good of an experience as possible. He’s very honest and wants the best for all. Although I did not kill on my hunt my guide was fantastic and worked his butt off. I immediately rebooked upon completion of my hunt and this is the only outfit in Montana I will go to.

As a first time big game hunter I decided to go with MTO and couldn't be more happy that I did. The London Hills Lodge was very nice, the food was great, and there were plenty of snacks and refreshments. There were also Elk bugling every morning right outside the lodge! I went out with Jason for the first two days and saw a ton of great Bulls that made me wish I was working with more than a cow tag. Together we put a stalk on a group of whitetail and I bagged my first deer at 330 yards with one shot. Jason was great teaching me about how the game move and different tactics for closing the distance. He and the whole MTO crew really gave me a crash course in hunting from shooting to breaking down my kill and getting it into the freezer. The second two days I hunted with Dan and again saw several really great bulls. Dan was very focused and methodical in his approach and helped me kill a big 2 year old calf. We spotted a group of elk and made a slow approach through the timber only to stumble on the calf bedded down. He told me just how to shoot it in that position and we came away with another clean kill. I cannot say enough for how accommodating Forest (MTOs owner) was. He really bent over backward to give me every opportunity to have a successful first hunt. I wish I had done this years ago but certainly will in years ahead!

Just had one of my favorite weeks of all time with Montana Trophy Outfitters. If you are looking for a holistic Elk/Western hunting experience, then this is your crew. Everything from lodging, food, guides, gear, and expertise was top notch and extremely enjoyable. Not only that but every hunter at our camp harvested a 6x6 bull Elk or bigger(not a guarantee.) There are plenty of outfitters in the Montana hunting world but the people at MTO set them tiers above the rest; I will certainly be back.

MTO put together all of the perfect accommodations for my dad and I to experience a beautiful week in Montana..and paired it with a successful harvest on Day 5 of my 5 day hunt! We had a few other chances earlier in the week, but those Montana bucks were tough to get close to! Thankfully, MTO had all the long range gear and optics that a successful hunter would need out there..I just had to bring my patience, and sure enough, MTO got me in the right place for a nice mature Trophy Whitetail! The lodge and meals alone would have earned a 5 star rating, but to top it off, Forrest and Devin went above and beyond to ensure I'd have some venison to pack home. And did I mention the meals and lodge were top notch!! Definitely consider booking your hunt with Forrest and the team at Montana Trophy Outfitters if you are up for an adventure of a lifetime!!

Had a great time on this outfitted elk hunt. Saw tons of elk in the peak of the rut. Elk bugling everywhere and was into elk everyday. Outfitter has a great piece of property. Guide was knowledgeable about the area and was a bow hunter himself. Food and accommodations were excellent. Would not hesitate to come back again if I ever drew the 380-20 tag again. Was one of my most memorable hunts. My elk was properly taken care of after the hunt and enjoyed having my wife along on the hunt when I got my bull at 40 yards.

Wow what an incredible week with Montana Trophy Outfitters. Forrest Lewton and Will Glaus treated us with so much attention to detail and a passion for elk hunting. This was the first guided archery elk hunt in my life. It was fantastic. Great Lodging, Food and the Elk. Multiple encounters all week. The property is beautiful elk country and is the kind you see on TV. I was fortunate to get a shot the last morning and harvest a very nice 6 point Bull.
