We went 8 miles down the Bitterroot River catching many fish. He had lunch and drinks for us for the day as well. We learned a lot and had an amazing time. ★★★★★I recently had the chance to take a river tour of the Bitterroot River with our guide Jim Mitchell. It was a great experience from the time Jim picked us up at our lodging until he dropped us back off. He came fully prepared with everything we needed including our food, which we cooked out on the banks of the river midway through the trip, and made sure every detail of the afternoon was perfect. He was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of the river, the Bitterroot Valley, and Montana in general, and our tour was both insightful and relaxing. I had a great time and will be booking a fly fishing tour with Jim in the future.
