I just completed my fourth hunting trip with the Mills crew. I have never had an experience where every crew member consistently goes above and beyond to exceed expectations but these folks do just that. The Bob wilderness trips should be on the list of any elk hunter; if for nothing else to experience the way things were done two hundred years ago. Tough doesn’t even start to define Tucker, Amy, Bryar, and Turk. Days for them start early and end late but the love for what they do is evident in how they treat their guests and particularly their livestock. If you are on the fence I encourage you to take that step and book a trip- summer or fall hunting- you won’t regret the decision. “Did y’all mean we were leaving right now?”😂

I have never been on a greater experience! I can’t caught a vacation, because that would not do it justice. The staff (family) could not be kinder, friendlier or work harder for our enjoyment. The horses are trained so wonderfully the camp is outstanding! You have to put this on your bucket list to do! It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s so worth it to get there and enjoy what this beautiful country has to offer! Thank you so much to the Mills family for making our dreams come true and giving us experiences we will never forget!!

The Mills family treated our group like royalty, livestock was fantastic, day trips to the wall and other destinations in the Bob was incredible! Thanks to Amy, Tucker, Turk, Maddie and the rest of the folks at Mills Wilderness Adventures. I had been envisioning a pack raft trip deep into the Bob for 3 years and they were able to help bring it to reality. From planning through departure, they were incredible hosts and helped make the experience truly epic. In addition, they are dedicated ambassadors to one of the last "wild" places in the lower 48 and their love for this way of life is evident. We will be booking again!

I went out on a summer pack trip this year and I have no words to describe what I saw. I had the time of my life!!! The Mills Family gives you superb treatment. Amy is an awesome camp cook and I truly had no idea that you could eat such wonderful meals out in the middle of nowhere, wow! The ride into camp was long but the well trained horses and well maintained horses handled the trip like the pros they were, I have been on other trips with other firms and sometimes I literally felt bad for riding those horses, not so with Mills they are beautifully cared for and well loved. The scenery was literally breathtaking and sights you would never see unless you were out there in the Bob Marshall. Once you get to camp it is well set up for all your needs and the daily horseback riding trips were awesome. The Chinese Wall has always been on my bucket list and it was more than I could have even imagined. What an incredible family the Mills are and what an adventure they delivered. I will be back!!!!!

I went on a guided elk hunt with this firm and the experience was incredible. Their horses were in great shape and obviously well cared for. The trip to camp was a long horseback ride but fantastic sites. The guides Tucker, Bryar and Turk Mills were really knowledgeable and experienced, I couldn't have asked for more. The camp was great and meals were fantastic. I would do it again and again. Great trip and I highly recommend this group if you want to hunt in the Bob!!! Thanks guys

If you are looking to disconnect by exploring some of the most wild and beautiful wilderness in the lower continental US - the Bob Marshall Wilderness is the place to be. The Mills were fantastic guides and hosts to help our group gain incredible access to this wilderness. Will look forward to returning!
