Overall, it's an incredible experience: delicious food, very friendly and accommodating owners, great guides and dogs, and superb quail hunting. Don't miss this place folks. Huge value for money!

The guides were extremely knowledgeable and funny, definitely willing to work with you if you’re inexperienced. The dogs were extremely well trained and wonderful to witness in action. The lodging & food was just as good as the hunting experience. Clean and homey feel to the lodge and the food was absolutely immaculate. All homemade, down home cooking. Plus the blessing before each meal made it feel like we were all a part of the family. Will certainly be back & would recommend to anyone wanting a guided quail hunt.

★★★★★I brought my son for his first deer hunt. From the moment we arrived, the McCranies treated us like we were part of their family. Some weather and rain made the first couple of hunts challenging, but there was an amazing meal and great camaraderie back at the lodge after every hunt. My son and I enjoyed the outdoors and spending time together without all of life’s other distractions. Brian McCranie took a personal interest in making sure that my son’s hunt was successful. He put us in the right place, at the right time, with the right coaching, and my son made a great shot on a very nice doe. We’ve got some meat going on the freezer, and we will be back for that buck!!!
