I hired Lost Valley Outfitters while on a family vacation in Montana fly fishing when my 13 year old told me he wanted to hunt boars when we returned to California. . My wife later told me she’d like to ride along, we added her after the fact-no problem. Showed up and instantly got along well. It was like hunting with a friend who happened to be a professional guide. Friday evening was fun, we saw some boars, but no clear shots. Saturday morning was a different story. My 13 year old dropped a trophy size boar, his first. I got a smaller one a few hours later. They handled the meat processing too. It was smooth, easy, high quality, and enjoyably friendly. My first experience with an outfitter. The type of experience that has us planning our next lifetime family memory hunt with Lost Valley Outfitters in the near future.

Hunted with Lost Valley Outfitters multiple times — deer in Central California and Mexico, plus turkey and pig on the Central Coast — and every trip has been top-notch. Casey, knows the terrain inside and out and consistently put us on animals, from glassing for mule deer in Mexico to spot-and-stalk turkey hunts. The Mexico deer hunt was a bucket-list experience, and the pig hunts were just as fun and well-run. Professional, safety-conscious, and genuinely great people. Ask for Casey — highly recommend!

We just finished our second hunt with Casey, and once again we filled our tags on great Hogs! 5/5 on this trip and my son was able to shoot his first big game animal at 13! Even after missing pigs and Going thru the lows to get to the high they stuck it out with us and got him on the perfect stalk! Just got home from a amazing hog hunt with Casey. This young man is legit, he has the energy & enthusiasm of a 26 year old with the maturity level of a 40 year old. I am 50 and have always been an avid hunter, this was my first guided hunt and really didn't know what to expect. Casey just set the bar very high and I am booking my next hunt with LVO today! For anyone like me who thinks these game ranch hunts are armed grocery shopping and not real hunting. This is the spot for you. This hunt is the real deal, prepare for hunting some of the most beautiful country you've ever seen but as you are out cruising the vast hills and glassing, do not lull yourself into a relaxed frame of mind. When it happens, it happens quick.

This was my first experience pig hunting and Casey set the bar extremely high. You can tell he is very passionate about the land he hunts and knows it like the back of his hand. He is an extremely knowledgeable guide and made this one of the best experiences of my life. As a first time hunter I was speechless with how helpful and knowledgeable Casey / Lost Valley Outfitters was. 2 friends and I did a weekend pig hunt and all of us were successful. The only downside is that Lost Valley Outfitters set the bar so high for my first hunt, it will be a tough experience to beat! Overall a 10/10 experience and will definitely be back.

Last year I booked a guided hunt with another outfitter in central California. It turned out to be a run-n-gun style hunt and not quite what we were looking for. I decided to go with Casey of Lost Valley outfitters this year to have a more legitimate hunt. I booked a two day hunt for myself and two buddies, and was not disappointed. Casey is polite, honest, and knowledgeable. He has access to some incredible land, on which, pigs are abundant. We saw 20+ during our hunt, and Casey was able to get us within 20 yards for archery shots. We had a fantastic hunt and killed pigs. I would highly recommend this outfitter to anyone considering a hog hunt.

Lost Valley Outfitters is a quality operation that puts together fun pig hunts. Chad met us before dawn and went over all the paperwork. I knew I was dealing with a professional. I look for three things when booking a hunt: opportunity on pigs, safety, and a knowledgable guide. I found all three on this hunt. The ranch was beautiful with rolling green hills and plenty of food, water, and cover for the piggies. My brother in law got his pig, so I'll be feasting on pork ribs tonight.

Fantastic experience. Went on a wild pig hunt with a friend. Casey was an incredible guide. He was prepared, extremely knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about providing an excellent experience. We ended up taking 3 pigs over 2 days and had an incredible time. Casey took us to some great spots and provided us with spot on advice. We'll definitely be coming back again. Casey is a highly qualified and motivated guide and hunter. He will find the game. I have been on a dozen or so guided hunts in my life and this one is in the top tier. He is very personable, follows through with what he says he is going to do and makes for a very enjoyable hunt. He put Barrett on a nice hog and I am sure this new hunter will never forget taking his first big game animal. As for me, Casey put me on six hogs on the second morning and I missed. He has great knowledge of the animals he hunts and knows a lot about the properties he hunts on. We glassed for about an hour and then decided to stalk a group of pigs. Casey has great knowledge of the ranches we hunted, where the pigs were, when they'd be there and terrain. The hospitality was great. He designs the hunt around your experience level which is great and if you want to get up close and personal with a wild hog he will get you close.
