I recently booked LRO for a three-day horse camping girls’ trip, and it was an incredible experience! The rugged terrain offered breathtaking views that made every moment feel like a postcard. Whether we were riding through the mountains or relaxing by the river, the scenery was nothing short of spectacular.
The food exceeded my expectations! Each meal was delicious and hearty, perfect for refueling after a day of exploration. We felt comfortable and catered to in every way, even in such a rustic setting.
One of the highlights for me was the fly fishing—such a peaceful way to enjoy the stunning surroundings.
Overall, Long Ridge Outfitters struck the perfect balance between rustic charm and attentive service. We felt completely at ease and truly cared for throughout the trip. A friend (who had a 76 muzzleloader tag) and I (who had a 76 archery tag) hunted with Greg Pearson on a two on one hunt this year (2022) We had an INCREDIBLE TIME! This outfitter and the camps are female friendly! The food was excellent (thanks again Ben!), the knowledge and expertise was top notch and Greg is great at elk calling! Greg (being the only outfitter who actually lives in Unit 76) , his entire staff and partners bleed integrity! I hope I can go again one day but if you are considering booking with this outfitter you will not regret it! Beautful clean camps, great food, many laughs, incredible views, lots of wildlife! JUST DO IT!

Although Long Ridge Outfitters are known for hunting support functions, we contracted them to bring a backpacking food re-supply up to the Continental Divide Trail at around 12,500 feet. Arrangements went smoothly and were flexible to our schedule. Updates were provided regularly and Greg even showed up a little earlier than scheduled and was clearly familiar with the remote back country location. We would have had to abort our trip without this critical re-supply, but Long Ridge delivered effectively and we were on our way.
