Our tour guide Tanner was so good to us and such a gentleman! We all had really nice conversations with him and he was so helpful. The horses were very gentle with us and so fun to ride! I would definitely go back to them when visiting again!

★★★★★Lobo outfitters are nothing short of exceptional. My girlfriend and I wanted to make a last second memory before we left Pagosa and didn’t have anything pre-booked. I called Lobo morning of and lovely Miss Gwen was such a pleasure to speak to / incredibly accommodating. I’m a fairly experienced rider , whereas my girlfriend had only rode a few times before. Our guide Tanner was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure she felt comfortable the entire time. The trail was stunning, the horses were well trained (and obviously well taken care of), Gwen and Tanner were amazing. The entire experience was 10/10.

★★★★★We had an amazing experience with Lobo Outfitters today. I was a little apprehensive to book a trail ride because my youngest has special needs, specifically Intellectual Disability. She has serious vestibular insecurity and does not like to be unstable. I let Gwen know that when we arrived and she was so incredibly kind and gentle, informing my youngest daughter of the "dos" and "don'ts" around the horses (Don't scream if scared, etc.). Then, the wranglers Tanner and Will were EXCEPTIONAL. They were patient as she mounted her horse and assured me she would be "just fine" even when I asked if it would be better if she and I stayed back while my husband and middle daughter continued with the trail ride. I am SO SO SO THANKFUL we booked this trip, for the kind staff, and their AMAZING horses. We all had SUCH a fun time and my youngest could not stop giggling and talking the entire trail ride. SHE LOVED IT and was never scared once. This truly had everything to do with the professionalism of the staff and the temperament of the horses they have. If you have a child with special needs, LOBO OUTFITTERS is the place for you!!!!!! There are so many activities that my child is unable to do with her peers. The entire trail ride I had such immense gratitude that for one day, she was able to participate fully. THANK YOU for this gift! All four of us had such a great time! -Meredith Cotton

The horses were absolute sweethearts and clearly knew exactly what to do, which put even the nervous first-timers in our group at ease. This is a ride for all types of riders; whether you’ve been on a horse a hundred times or never at all, you’re in good hands. The views were spectacular the entire way. Absolutely breathtaking scenery and the ability to go up and down made it fun and interesting as opposed to straight ahead in a filed. Tanner was our wrangler and he was funny, polite and skilled. Best two hours ever and the prices are so reasonable.

Our early ride was a great time to go in summer as it is much cooler and allows you to really enjoy the views and surroundings. Our trail guide, Tanner, was a true gentleman, so very polite and informative. We had a wonderful long conversation during our ride. He told us all about our horses - their personalities and habits. My husband rode Ike and I rode Peadra. Tanner took our picture in a beautiful green meadow, which will be a keepsake in our home. We are both in our 60s and this was by far the best trail ride we have ever had. Kudos to Gwen and Tanner for a memorable ride!

When our party of 5 (3 kids and 2 adults) arrived Gwen was friendly, informative and just great with kids! Our tour guide explained details to kids and interacted with everyone. She stopped when needed, offered to take pictures of our group. Kids thought it was amazing. Would recommend to anyone wanting a slow paced, beautiful view 2 hour ride. Our guide, Audrianna was great. She was really good with my kids and made sure to warn us of steep trails. The horses were so well behaved. My horse was named Ike and he was such a good horse.
