Highly recommend!!!!!!! Just want to thank Don's Hunting Preserve for a wonderful weekend in October. Justin, Caroline and their team are amazing! The guys did a tower shoot, and dog guided pheasant, chukar and quail hunt. They are extremely knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. We even stayed in their beautiful historic home for the weekend. If you have any interest in bird hunting, this is the place to go. We had so much fun. Justin and Caroline Yates are the best hosts. You will feel like family. Definitely exceeded our expectations.

Don's is always a great experience. I've hunted most everywhere that does preserve hunts in the area and Don's is my preferred spot. Justin and his boys always take care of you and will ensure you have a good experience. They'll place birds softly which is nice for those who don't have as steady a dog or who want to simulate a more 'wild bird' Tower shoots are fun time as well. Prepare to shoot a lot!

Hunted this place on 11/29/2019 and all i have to say is that the people are really nice but!!!! The Quail were so small and wouldn't fly and the Chukar were no better! this was a huge issues sense we were trying out 2 new dogs that we were going to purchase....but it doesn't help when the birds wont fly! we had to catch the birds with our hands throw them into the air and shoot just to simulate a hunt for the dogs!! sad really :( 2 stars for the owner and staff being friendly
