Kevin and Jen did a great job setting us up with a drop camp for elk hunting. They made sure we were comfortable, helped us learn the area, and did their best to help ensure our success.

I had the privilege of taking my two boys (ages 12 & 13) & my 21 yr old nephew on a 4 night 5 day pack trip with OutWest Guides. Jen & Kevin were wonderful guides & equally as good chefs. None of us were very experienced riders, so Kevin made a point to be especially vigilant about our safety. Jen & Kevin's horses were outstanding. They were all well trained gentle animals. Kevin's sense of humor combined with Jen's warm motherly demeanor made my boys feel right at home. The trout fishing was great and the scenery was breathtaking. If you want a true "Out-West" adventure the ways things use to be then do not hesitate to call OutWest Guides. If I could give them 10 Starts instead of 5, I would! Thanks again my new friends Kevin & Jen!!

We had such an amazing experience with OutWest Guides! We had a group of 6, 14 year old Girl Scouts plus 3 leaders and this was such a fun experience. I cannot recommend OutWest Guildes enough. They are salt-of-the-Earth people who provided excellent customer service and a fun, challenging and beautiful ride. We had originally scheduled in late May but due to covid ended up rescheduling and Jen could not have been nicer and more accomodating. Each member of our group had different skill levels, heights and weights and they paired everyone with the right horse. The trails were mountain horse trails, not groomed paths. We were going up and down a mountain, it wasn't hard but it was challenging and steep at some points which made it exciting and not just a run of the mill lazy horseback ride. The views at the top are worth it. The two hour ride was plenty and we were ready for hot springs afterwards. The horses were excellent, and the horses and quides were pros that knew that mountain inside and out. The horses all had a lot of personality which made for fun stories after the ride with the girls. Our thanks to Kevin, Jen and Will for an amazing guided experience and a lot of fun. We'll have memories for years to come. I continue to tell all my friends about them and can't wait until we ride again.

Some men and I did this during our mens retreat. Had such a great time. We did the 3 hour ride. Went up in the mountains and saw so much. The guide took some great pictures for us as well. They was also such great people. The fee was dead on. So worth the money. I would very much recommend doing this.

By far the best trail ride I have ever done. The scenery is incredible and so are the people! The views are far better than anything you would see in Aspen, you will be in the mountains actually enjoying your ride. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to trail ride!

If you want to expirence Colorado naturally, this is the place! No walking alongside roads, you're actually up in the mountains. The scenery is breathtaking. Everyone there is nice and helpful and make you feel as if you're visiting with friends. The horse's are simply amazing. They listen well, are gentle and friendly. I couldn't of asked for a better expirence. Thank you!
