If you've never hunted or chased Mountain Lions with hounds, you are in for a great adventure. We locate mountain lion tracks in the early morning with 4x4 pickups and snowmobiles. Once a track is located, the atmosphere is exciting as our well trained lion hounds are ready for the chase! At this time of year the mountain lion pelts are in peak quality and make exceptional life sized mounts.

Northwestern Colorado is known to be the Elk Hunting Capital of the World and Ivory Tip Outfitters happens to be right in the middle of it. Our elk hunting areas are in 4-point or better management units, increasing the chance of taking a mature bull elk, typically 4-point or better, with most running in the 5 to 6 point range. We hunt out of trucks and side by side Polaris Rangers using spot and stalk methods.

For the hunter who prefers to put tasty elk steaks in the freezer rather than antlers on the wall, we also offer cow elk hunts at a reduced rate. Our cow elk hunts take place in the middle of November. We also offer a youth hunt for cow elk that runs in December. These hunts are used to help to control our over-abundant elk herds.
