8-Day Guided Archery Elk Hunt

We also offer Archery hunts in Early September. Elk and Deer hunts (as well as combo hunts) are eight days long. One day is spent riding in, six days are spent hunting, and one day is spent riding out. We will meet in Cody, WY, the day prior to the ride in. This is a horseback pack-in-hunt with the main camp being 20 miles from the trailhead. The Thorofare elk hunting areas are accessed by horseback and on foot depending upon where we are planning to hunt that particular day. With over 25 years of guiding and backcountry experience, we are confident we can accommodate you to fit your needs and give you the best possible chance at the trophy of your dreams! We utilize many styles of hunting, including spot and stalk, stand hunting, calling, and still hunting. We hunt native elk early in the season and weather permitting, migratory elk in the later hunts. We provide all food and lodging during the course of the hunt. Additionally, we provide the hunters with clean, comfortable tents complete with cots and wood stoves for their comfort.
