★★★★☆We all had a nice time but way to hot Elk Archery and Muzzleloader. this was our first drop camp. All was as described but was nothing to compare to I cant say if any others are better. Packed in great we were scheduled to hunt Full season of 9 days. Was some how a mix up with our Pack out day. Had to leave a day short so we could make our flight home. I probably would have been upset but weather was to warm and no real good elk movement. One member did miss cow with bow. Couple of Bugle battles with archey guys but nothing like I expected. I seen a quick flash of a elk my last day. Staff was nice. Communication with Radio in evening was on time. I would suggest a 9 P.M radio call for September. Kind of tight making it back on time for 8 p.m call . Supplies provided were Fair. Water distance was about 200 yards kind of tuff carrying heavy water cans they provided that Far. I suggest a Game cart or something left at camp to help with transporting the water cans. seen no Deer. I used 3 points for deer tag and Used 5 Elk points for Muzzleloader Bull but found out that could have just put Cow and not wast points. They had 1 leftover Cow. Wasted 5 points and wasted 3 deer points don't waste time on Deer, or bear. but bear was only $100 in 2019. Also we booked 2 years out wish they would have given our gear list a lot earlier. Gave gear list two months before and we already got stuff for trip did not need but to late already bought. Recommend you ask for gear list well in advance not so soon before. Overall it was a great adventure but expecting at least 1 elk in group. of 6 guys.
