Archery Elk Hunt 2025 I had a great experience with Randy, Cheyenne and the team. Randy Sr. led me to my harvest a bull on my first elk hunt, and I enjoyed the time spent with him. They are passionate about hunting, experienced, dedicated, and work hard to give people opportunities. Food and accommodations were excellent, and everyone involved was professional, friendly, hard-working, and treated us like family. We had a great group of hunters the week I went as well, and we had a good time at camp. They are a high-quality outfit!

My son and I hunted elk with High Desert Ranch & Outfitting. Everything about the whole operation was great. We saw a lot of elk and were both able to harvest nice 6x6 bulls. The ranch house was clean and comfortable and the food was amazing. The guides were first class and really knew the area and where to find elk. Everyone in camp had plenty of opportunities to harvest a nice bull and all did by the end of the hunt. The guides did a really good job of taking their time with those of us who are past our prime and made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Will definitely hunt with High Desert again.

I've had the opportunity to hunt with Cheyenne and Randy Sloan at High Desert Ranch and Outfitting on 2 elk hunting trips. Its hard to find the words to express what fantastic experiences I've had with them but some words I would use to describe them and their team are professional, hospitable, ethical, committed, and knowledgeable. I learned so much in my two weeks spent with these folks and we had as much fun in camp as we did in the field. The food and accommodations were top notch and I was treated like extended family. I had a successful hunt on both occasions but even if I had not, I would have felt my money was well spent based upon the experience alone. If you are a hunter looking for a great experience, pull the trigger and book you hunt with them. On a scale of one star to five stars I give them 10 stars!
