Hunted with them in 2019 at the thorofare camp Second to the last rifle hunt, on good advice from one of their long time hunters. It is a super tough wilderness hunt. 25 mile horseback ride. And the camp is true Teddy Roosevelt style. My two buddies and I got lucky with great guides and we all killed beautiful bulls. The camp went five for seven, with the two no tags just being missed opportunities with poor shots. This will truly be a hunt of a lifetime. Two side notes. Their correspondence to get set up for a hunt is truly not great. Just have to stay with it. They actually missed an opportunity to book me for a second Hunt because of that. Last note, make sure your gear is locked down tight when you leave …if there is something that they need out there like good sleeping bags or other gear it may not come back. And you aren’t going back after it. Good luck. PS Some advice from one of their top guides when I asked him how do you stay out here for weeks on end and make it work? He told me socks, socks, socks everything else stays the same. Keep that in mind and travel light with a good warm rain gear.

Really unfortunate that I've called and emailed this outfitter atleast 7 times combined now and can't get a return call or email. I've even spoke to the owner who said someone would be getting back to me. Was looking to book 20k+ in hunts and not even a "we're full" or "pound sand" response 😞

Experience of a lifetime. Been on two trips with Hidden Creek and both have been wonderful. It's an experience you'll remeber for years. I recommend packing what they recommend, the weather changes in the blink of an eye.

Awesome ride with Pooch! Even though I'm an inexperienced rider, had a great time.

I can honestly say that I have had the experience of a lifetime and I can thank Hidden Creek Outfitters for providing the opportunity. I have seen breathtaking panoramic views of the Shoshone National Forest and the Bridger Teton National forest and all on horseback. Being a horse person myself I must say that the horses were spectacular. They were fit, muscular and well trained. The guides were skilled in all aspects of horsemanship, familiar with the lay of the land and had a great respect for safety. They answered all of my questions, laughed at my silly jokes and provided me assistance when needed, which was often. The food on the trail was fantastic. The camp cooks did an excellent job of preparing gourmet meals on an open fire. The manager greeted me at the airport, transported me to the XUX Ranch where I stayed for two nights. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and the setting was serene. My compliments to the chef for preparing outstanding meals and to my server for her prompt, courteous and efficient service. I can't say enough positives about my experience and those that made it possible. If you want an experience of a lifetime I highly recommend Hidden Creek Outfitters and the XUX Ranch..
