About this package

This is a 6 day trophy Mule Deer hunt with a chance to harvest a mountain lion or wolf if the opportunity arises. Hunting is conducted on horseback or ATV. Our Hells Canyon trophy mule deer hunts range from alpine hunting in the early season to hunting the breaks of the Snake and Salmon Rivers in the late season in IDFG unit 18. Hells Canyon and the Salmon River Canyon have some of the best mule deer habitat you will find anywhere in the west. With the high alpine meadows of the Seven Devils Mountains and the steep grass breaklands of the canyons this remote and rugged country allows these bucks to reach their full potential. These muley hunts are six days long. We base these hunts out of our lodge where we can access all of the different areas in this unit. We do occasionally use horses and mules on this hunt to access some of the harder to reach areas. We are only allocated a few of these tags each year and our goal is to harvest large mature Muleys.
