We did a 2 night trip with GRE from a July 11-13. Our guides Adam and Tristan did an incredible job putting us on the fish and feeding us like kings at camp. It was a great trip. I would definitely recommend these guides and this trip if you are serious about fishing the Gunnison.

A two-day fishing excursion in a beautiful part of the country! Our guides were experts who taught us to fly fish and kept our gear untangled while navigating the raft through rapids, kept us safe, cooked, set up camp and, most importantly, reminded us to drink enough water. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, the trout fishing was great, and the rapids were awesome! It was the perfect combination of excellent fishing and thrilling whitewater action. So much fun! We did a more chill section of the river that was mainly class 2 but it was still quite enjoyable. Our guide Nik was delightful and took great care of us. Made a couple stops to see some petroglyphs and have a dip in the river to cool off. Awesome views the whole time. Sandy (the bartender/manager) was really sweet and helpful, gave us some great recommendations for other activities in the area as well as the best ways to explore the river and Black Canyon National Park. Would definitely use this company to do some more technical higher rated rafting trips in the future.

WHOA! Mark, Richard, Jim and Stuart led our trip of 8 through the canyon. They cooked the most dope river food we've ever had, set up and broke down camp like pros, untangled knots like they were born for it while my butter fingers wouldn't work and know every honey hole in the canyon... Best and most knowledgeable guides I've ever fished with, hands down... Hard to say if it was more fun trading stories at night or listening to them tell us to land our fly at a specific rock point or bank and hooking a fish every time they shot out some advice... Slept under the stars for two nights with the best company and scenery in the world. Bucket list checker without a doubt... Don't use a tent when you're out there, the stars and milky way are beyond incredible... I shouldn't even be writing this review because this is the type of place you find and don't tell anyone about...

Did the 2 day trip thru the Black Canyon last week of July. Fishing was excellent, weather was perfect, fishing guide (Tyler J.) was excellent. First the drive to the hike in spot, interesting. The 20-30 minute hike into the canyon is very manageable. Once on the river you are in for an experience. Camping on the river was nice (put a couple of extra towels in your dry bag). The food was way better than expected. Topped of by an upside down pineapple cake. Definitely checked the box of a bucket list fishing trip.

Safe navigation, good raft handlers, provided good fishing opportunities with very rewarding results on this beautiful float. My friends and I had a wonderful time this summer with Nic, our guide. He showed us some of the most historical areas such as the oldest petroglyphs in North America, and And Learning about the black table Mesa was amazing. Nic was responsible, safe, patient, and informative during our rafting adventure. As well as that, we loved our cabins and the overall park was such a comfortable stay. I couldn’t recommend this journey enough to those who wish to seek some adventure in a very historical and beautiful location. I would recommend having Nic as a tour guide because of his knowledge of the area and his love for the river. Thank you all so much! I will be coming back next year
